Real tangle free. Super happy with this buy. Easy to adjust. Know that I needed 2, but because my sister bought me one at a local sports store that was “high quality” and cost her $15, I felt bad and cancelled one of the two. Thinking that if that one was doble the price vs this one that it would be okay. This one we received first and we adjusted it for my 10 yr old. He liked it and started jumping right away. The one my sister bought was received a week or so later. Tried to adjust it and it was so hard. Then after a struggle I was able to set it and when we tried to use it it was all tangled. It was so crapy I was frustrated. That us when we compared the two.Amazon one you can adjust both sides, so I didn’t have to cut it, meaning my son can grow and I can re-adjust accordingly. Super confy on the handles. And the material on the rope is amazing. It won’t tangle and even when I roll it to put it away, when we take it out it takes back it’s form quickly. Basically we were able to use it out of the box.Other one: can only adjust one side, so I had to cut it. If cut wrong you can’t go back. Handles are very hard and not ergonomic at all. After a week of taking out of the box we are still waiting for it to look straight at least. I tried everything to fix it. Because it still has the form from when it was in the box, I can’t jump without it getting tangled in my feet. And if rolled, it gets worse. We had knots form... a complete joke and cost double this one.Winner: Viajero jumping rope from amazon. And because we love it, I just bought a second one in a different color. That is also a plus because you can buy different colors for each person to prevent fighting or getting confused. We just love it.

This jump rope is the best I have ever bought. I had one before this that had wood handles. Everytime I used my old one, my hands would slide around on the handles. The handles on this one are amazing, the foam makes it easy to grip while staying extremely comfortable in my hands, and the bearings in the handles are great and allow for smooth and seamless jump rope. Overall, the Jump Rope performs how it should. My only issue is, the grips wear down very quickly.
