Fantastic fun story!
This is a hilarious, fast paced adventure story with strange events, stranger characters and a mystery for Stitch and Arabella to solve! Read it to find out what happened at Castle Grotteskew when the orphans that Stitch Head had rescued start running riot because they are starving. In an effort to feed the children, Stitch and Arabella go to Grubbers Nubbin to try to get food for them and monstrous mayhem ensues – you’ll just have to read the book to find out what happens. The illustration and language used will certainly appeal to children. The story is divided into chapters and the vocabulary used makes this book suitable for able independent readers aged eight years and older. There are magnificent creations designed by the mad professor, some of which really are monsters, and lots of orphans, one of whom is a monster, too! A great story that will help encourage even more reluctant readers to want to finish this story to find out what happens in the end, definitely a book (and series) that I recommend parents and teachers of pre-teens look at!Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too, for letting me read an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
