This is perfect for anyone. We selected the wider option. As you can see it'll work perfect for a 3.5 foot child or a 5.5 foot teenager. I am a bit larger in frame and I fit comfortably as well. The instructions were easy to follow and the hardward was labeled nicely. The foot rest pulls out just as a sofa sleeper would and then rolls right underneath the chair and then the back of the chair works just a lounge chair does. Pull it all the way forward to release it all the way down and then it just clicks into place. Yes it is harder than a typical bed or couch but we have a twin sized memory foam folded away that we can place on top for sleeping on. I would definitely recommend buying this. Also, they (we purchased 2) were at my door and put together in less than 5 days.

For sitting comfortably, this was ideal. When it’s opened to create a guest bed, it was too hard and too narrow for an older adult. This would be great for average-sized boy or girl guests, ages 7 to 16. It’s been useful for reading or watching a movie. The pullout is easy to use and good for stretching out tired legs.

The wood is very cheap, I leaned over the armrest with my elbow the first use and heard the wood just crack and crunch, being im lazy and already put it together and out of the box I won’t return it but DEFINITELY NOT WORTH the $245 price (that’s with the $70 shipping cost) POV I am a small guy so very weak wood to not be able to hold me other than that it’s cute and comfortable just don’t think it’s going to last long, was pretty simple to assemble

This chair has multiple settings for the back (much like a summer lounge chair), and the footrest pulls out from under the chair easily. We got this for our sun to have a place to rest when he visits from college, and he said that it is comfortable! Easy to assemble, easy to adjust, and looks great! We are very pleased.

If I could give this - stars I would. It is falling apart after 3 months and little use. Cushions are flat, upholstery is loose looks like we have used it for years instead of 3 months. In its reclined position it can be used as a bed, if your a child. I’m 5’2 and to tall for it. In its upright position it’s in a leaned position but, give zero support to your back and the arms are pointless. Note: picture one is day 1, picture 3 is 3 months later with little use and 1 overnight guest.

This chair has been a pain since I got it. It is really uncomfortable and even though I've had it less than a year it's already falling apart. The only reason I didn't put 1 star is because it was easy enough to put together and the color is nice.

This is exactly what I wanted. It sits good as a chair. It is a little firm for sleeping but putting a quilt down first softens it. But it is comfortable. Definitely worth the price.

I am amending my previous comment (see below) and given this item a "4 star" review thanks to the outstanding Aiho customer service I experienced. In communication with the Aiho representative who consulted with a company engineer, my hardware problem with the chair could not be resolved in a timely manner. Aiho offered to send me another chair or refund my purchase. I chose the refund. I do not want two of these! I am going to have to come up with a creative solution so the chair I have can actually be used as intended. I think I will need to drill new holes to reposition the internal wheels on the "rollout" frame and attempt a large screw and bolt system. Fingers crossed. I received both boxes containing a "large sized" chair today and set about putting it together. Everything was in the box and the instructions simple. HOWEVER, an internal wheel to the chair that allows the bed extension to roll in and out out could not be bolted in because the collar on the threaded insert was not attached (glued/soldered?) to the frame. Thus the wheel could not be tightened to the frame. This was not an issue with the other wheel. I have to go through Amazon to contact the seller and have done that for guidance on how to fix this short of sending the entire bed back. Except for this small detail that essentially eliminates the reason I bought the chair, I think it would have fulfilled my purpose to serve as a bed for my visiting grandaugher. As a side note, I did buy a twin sized 2" foam mattress topper given reviews on how uncomfortable the pullout bed was. The topper is too big width wise, but would work in a crunched up fashion. If the seller is able to provide guidance on how to 'fix' the wheel, I will amend my review and give a higher rating!
