At the time of writing this review, I have not yet finished the book. I saw the show on Broadway last week and was blown away, so knew I definitely wanted to purchase this to learn more about the show. So far I think it is wonderful, the content is interesting and in-depth and it's a must-buy book for anyone who loves the show and story. However the reason I have docked a star is because the cover is a white, flimsy papery material and despite being hardback, is inevitably going to get spoiled. It's bound to become grubby very quickly and I'm already seeing small signs of wear and tear (I've only had it 3 days!) as it is just so fragile. Granted, I have been carrying it around with me so I can read it at work, but I just think for the price it should at least have a more hardwearing dust sheet. I've decided I'm just going to enjoy it and not worry about every speck of dirt or tear, but I am sad that it won't stay pristine.
