Good Caliper for the Price
I lost a digital caliper I bought on Amazon years ago and I needed a replacement but most of them were too expensive for my needs. Then I found this model and I decided to try it. I like this caliper. It's very accurate for my purposes and it seems solid. It holds its settings nicely. The only thing I would have liked is a nice storage case. I haven't used it a lot so I can't speak to the battery life but that's mot an issue for me because I don't use it that often. It's a great addition to my tool chest at this price point.

Much more than I hoped and expected
The quality, accuracy, performance, and ease of operation of this caliper tool is exceptional, and is something I would have expected only in a tool made by a company starting with an "M." This came in a sturdy, padded case, and included many replacement parts, including a mini Phillips screwdriver to access the screw on the door to the battery compartment. I was really impressed by the accuracy of this device to measure out a 3" item, then return to absolute zero upon full closure of the caliper. All printing on this device is sharp and legible, with no blur or uneven printing of digits for direct mechanical reading of the instrument's scales. This device is well machined with no burrs or unexpected sharp edges. It has a professional feel and look. There are no erratic jumps in the digital readout. This was truly an unexpected surprise. When I first received it, I saw a battery in a package, and started reaching for the included Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the battery door, and then I spotted a pull tab at the base of the digital readout. I pulled it, and the readout came to life (who bothers reading instructions first, lol). It has a nice feature that turns the unit back on as soon as the slide is moved. This was unexpected and allows you to continue where you left off, without having to re-cal or re-zero. I usually try to buy brand names when it comes to tools, and I was warry of the high ratings and the vine reviewers, but here I am writing a five star review of my own. This is one tool where I took a chance on the high review ratings, and in todays world of hype and no delivery, this is an outstanding exception to "you get what you pay for." I would have expected to pay a minimum of $120 or more for a brand name that may not have delivered as much as this Werka digital caliper kit.

working very well and accurate - added function would make them ideal.
This unit is performing as per expectations and appears accurate with a very easy readout and multi-function from metric to imperial. So no complaints on this as they are working as intended.I only wish there was a way, on the fractional imperial measurement to round up or down to more common units. i.e. Trying to figure out that 43/128 (don't need that accuracy) to 11/32 or even 5/16 would be enough accuracy for woodworking. I spend a bunch of time doing mental math on these type of measurements.

Excellent calipers
I was very impressed with these calipers. They are perfect for my project work. Easy to use. Holds zero very well. My only complaint is not so much with the caliper as with the box. The On/Off button is on the top face of the caliper. When putting the caliper away, sometimes the pressure of the foam liner in the box lid will turn the caliper On, with the risk of running down the battery.

These are like a beautiful work of art
When I received these, I almost thought they sent me the wrong item because of how nice they were. You would think the case alone would cost as much as I spent on both of them. When I worked as a aircraft mechanic, I used calipers almost daily, but when I retired I sold most of my aerospace tools along with my Mitutoyo calipers. Afterwards I found myself regretting selling them until I got these at a fraction of what I sold my Mitutoyo's for. These have more features, look nicer, and have a much better case than my old set. I am beyond happy I found these and I use them at least once a month.
