A Grammar of Kuuk Thaayorre (Mouton Grammar Library [MGL], 74) 1st Edition

Alice Gabby's thesis was pretty much the first linguistic work I ever checked out, upon graduating high school (before then it was mainly reading wikipedia articles and WALS). Kuuk Thayorre quickly became one of my favorite languages, and Australian languages are now my favorite linguistic typological area. Really fantastic grammar all around—I love how expansive the desiderative constructions are in Kuuk Thaayorre! Wish the absolute best for the Pormpuraaw community and the longevity of their language!
