Nice Ax
Very unique design. It looked exactly like the photo, right down to the carving marks on the handle. They supply a silicone blade guard, a leather button strap blade guard, a sharpening stone and two additional circular head wedges in case the handle dries out and the head gets loose. I think it's well worth the price point. A DIY person could refine it even further, but it's a beautiful rough and sturdy start. It's designed to split short lengths of fire wood and it will live next to the wood stove in the winter , then in the camper on trips. Edit... I ordered a second axe as a gift for a friend... it was just as good if not better than the first. head comes slightly loose, but they include the extra wedges. This ax is now on my best friends Christmas go to gift list. just ordered a third , and two more of the 21" long version. This is a good value.

Axe head arrived loose, product looks used - FIXED
The axe itself is good looking, but the head of the axe is already loose on arrival and it appears this may have been a returned item. There is already scuffs and marks on the blade & wedge portion of the axe. EDIT: The seller promptly reached out and sent a new axe. I've used it for a fair amount of work and it's working great.

Broke first time using it
It is a beautiful axe. Bought it for my husband. First time he used it the head snapped right off. Can't figure out how to get ahold of seller and it's past the Amazon return time. So sad, and embarrassing, that it broke almost immediately.

Not impressed
The head is loose on the handle , try be fair they sent 2 things to put in the handle to tighten it but there is not enough room to put them in. Try sharpening it? I challenge you to get it sharp. Can’t be done. Made from junk steel. Not impressed with this at all. Looks good for hanging on a wall not for using.

Need to sharpen before first use
The puck sharpens very slowly. This takes time. This axe does not come ready to use, it is not sharp. The leather protection is very tight, does not unsnap very easily.

Solid performer for its pupose
Great small camping axe. Like very much. Handle comes loose with use but to be expected.

I'm very satisfied with this purchase. The build quality of the axe is excellent, and it came perfectly sharpened right out of the box. It feels solid in the hand and performs exceptionally well. Highly recommended!

Seems like a very well made axe. Despite what other reviews are saying, the head isn't loose on arrival, so either i just got lucky, or the other reviewers are unlucky. Bringing all 3 of my axes when i go camping, so I'll see how she holds up to ol' reliable (the bigger axe. Ive had that one for 7 years, and she aint failed me yet.)

The blade was loose on the handle but comes with parts to repair. It should come ready to use.

Axe head is loose and there's glue or stain on the axe head. The handle is very rough as if it wasn't sanded properly.
