2 Pack Ceiling Pendant Light Fitting, E27 Lamp Holder, with Lock Ring for Shade, with 100CM Adjustable Cable, Flex Cable Ceiling Rose, Industrial Style Ceiling Pendant Fitting(Black)

We bought these to go with some glass lamp shades. They were perfect for the job with the metre long cable allowing shortening to get the shade at the right height. The cable has two connectors for live and neutral which are ideal for a Waygo type connector to the lighting circuit. The lamp holder is 57mm in diameter so we didn't need to use the step-down adapter supplied with the shades (not included with this fitting). If your shades take the smaller diameter (28mm) then these won't work. The supplied bracket is quite thin metal but does the job and attaches to the ceiling with two supplied screws (wallplugs also supplied) and the black cover screws to it using two supplied black screws. Once the cable is shortened, it goes through a plastic collar, the black cover and another collar. The two collars screw togetether to clamp the cable firmly meaning the shades wight is taken up by the ceiling cover and not the cable. In all, it took about 5 minutes to shorten and secure the cable to the cover then another 5 to screw the bracket to the ceiling, connect the cables using Waygo connectors and screw the cover to the bracket. Our shade is glass so we fitted that after the pendant fitting was up due to weight which would make it difficult to balance whilst securing the cover. The shades were available with the pendant already fitted for £10 more each though they weren't in stock. We got 4 without the pendant and two sets of these so ended up saving £22 using these without compromising looks or quality.
