My dogs love these Vital Essentials freeze-dried treats. They are fragrant up close, but less stinky than fresh liver, and I don't expect beef liver to smell like flowers. I love the limited ingredient list, especially when we are learning new training tasks and I need multiple treats in a short amount of time. I would much rather give my dog multiple pieces of freeze-dried meat than other "junk food" treats. I have a few dogs with allergy issues and sensitive stomachs. Rich treats often upset their GI system, but they can eat many flavors of Vital Essentials without any unwanted side effects. I think these are a great size for training a variety of dog sizes, and even cats. If I grab a bigger piece for the cat, I just break it in half. I think the cost is a great value for the quality meat product inside. Happy training!

We use these as the "special treat" for our dog. He LOVES them. No digestive issues, good size treats so it takes us awhile to go though them - some freeze dried liver treats are BIG chunks that are actually difficult for our rat terrier mix to chew through. At $6 a bag, this a good value for us. This is a good size bag for us too so we don't have to worry about transferring treats to another bag or transporting a large bag when we go somewhere.

my (6 year old) pup loves the vital beef liver treats and goes absolutely wild for them. the texture is a little dry/brittle, and can be given as-is or be broken down into smaller sizes to be used as training treats. beef liver has so many health benefits + i love knowing that these are single ingredient with no added fillers, and that these treats are providing my aging girl the added nutritional benefits she needs to age with grace.

Doggy loves these liver treats, they were small enough for medium/large breeds breakable but tough. Freshness with the reusable bag , texture and thickness was comparable to the name brands as this is freeze dried treaties. Taste was on point, very good training value. Excellent product reason I gave four stars is the price could be better look around. Know your dogs will enjoy!

These are by far the favorite treats of my dogs. You will be doing a subscription because running out and not having another package on hand is like the world ended. They are perfect size for small-medium dogs. They don't break very easily with my fingers (when I'm trying to break one in half) but by the time you get to the bottom of the bag there's lots of crumbs from pieces that have broken off.

Best single ingredient treats for your dog. If you’re looking for an healthy alternative this is excellent.

My damn dog LOVESSSS these things. Yes while being small, it’s perfect for training! Getting their attention. Small little success treats, etc. He LOVES them more than anything!!! They’re a little fishy smelling, but I assume that’s the omega fish oils. No complaints since they’re healthy AND he loves them. Makes training wayyyy more encouraging! 😆 I had peanut butter training treats from a different manufacturer and while it worked well years ago, different manufacturers, quality, etc makes a huge difference. While I still use the peanut butter treats, it’s more for when mom is having an ice cream treat & doesn’t want to leave my dog out of it. 😆 🚨 UPDATE!! ‼️ He likes his peanut butter treats, and his milk bone chewy teeth cleaning treats, but LITERALLY NOTHING COMPARES to the beef liver treats. Also worth mentioning, out of all the food I feed my pup; kibbles alone, canned food alone, mixed, etc. The flavor he PREFERS is ALWAYS chicken. 🐔 I’ve tried beef, sirloin flavor canned food, etc but by far it’s always the chicken & rice or the chicken dinner canned foods that he definitely prefers! So having got the beef liver I was SUPER HESITANT, but like I said, HE LOVES THEM!!!!!!!!!! These treats over literally everything he has ever had. At $32 I thought the bag would be full. Less than half a bag. Never again.
