I use this in the garage and I have been very happy with it. The dark taupe color looks nice and, despite the larger size, it does not visually stand out too much. At the same time, when someone is looking for the trash can, it is still easy to spot. The design holds the trash bag in place well, which improves the overall appearance and keeps the bag from slipping. Replacing bags is simple and does not take much added effort. Perfect outdoor can!! Color is beautiful and goes well with everything outside! Easy to put together- took me less than 5 minutes- easy to use and move around. We get a lot of wind here and it stays put!

So I was looking for a trashcan in my apartment That holds 33 gallon trash bags, but was not bulky and also had a lid on it and I seem to have issues trying to find the one I needed because they didn’t have a lid or it was too easy to have the bags fall down once you put trash in them and that also didn’t look so nasty. So I came across this and even though it was a bit more than I wanted to spend. I felt it was a good investment and I was definitely right. My only thing was I was afraid it was gonna look too much like those trash cans or it was gonna be too big and bulky but it definitely wasn’t. It’s super lightweight and feels like plastic but it looks upper class and it’s super light to move around the lid stay secure, so if you were to lift it up, it wouldn’t pop off and the great thing is the little tiny lock just by moving the handle back and forward. I love it when the whole off of it you put the trash bag in it and once you put the whole lid back on it, it keeps the trash bag in place so it doesn’t collapse once stuff gets put in it . I got it. My sister was jealous and said she wanted one for her house. It doesn’t even take that much room that I have a lot more room in my kitchen to move around and it technically doesn’t look like a trashcan. It just looks like some kind of beautiful statues sitting there. It keeps any smells inside and not in the apartment. This is the best investment I’ve made when it comes to trash cans. I definitely recommend for anybody who has an apartment a small apartment and RV or just further backyards, or even for your balcony because this is perfect.

I’ve owned this Suncast trash can in brown for years and have always loved the lid design and its overall durability. When I needed another, staying with this model was a must. ​I purchased "Cyberspace Grey" to match my outdoor furniture. While the color is definitely more of a blue-grey than a true neutral grey, it actually complements my denim blue cushion covers perfectly. If you are looking for a flat or charcoal grey, be aware this leans towards BLUE, but the quality remains 5 stars!

Details below PROS: - sturdy as heck - look nice - easy to assemble - large capacity - pieces are marked for assembly CONS: - make sure you have 6 (six) pieces BEFORE you assemble. Directions aren’t necessary but once it’s together that’s it. There’s no god way to get it apart without a saw or hammer. - no directions or parts chart which would’ve been beneficial as it would’ve listed the piece I was missing. The directions are helpful because there’s a certain way to put the bottom in and a best order to do the sides, but you can do it without them if you just go slow and look at all the pieces first. - the latch for the larger lid (to put the bag in and out) isn’t great so be careful when lifting. If the latch piece was just a tad bit longer it’d be perfect. (The latch for the smaller top opening works perfectly fine). ****I WANT TO REITERATE: ONCE YOU PUT ANY OF THE PIECES TOGETHER THEY ARE NOT COMING APART SO DONT MESS IT UP.**** I ordered 2 - one for cans one for bottles. The first one we opened it didn’t have directions, but they’re so easy to put together. We opened the 2nd one and that had directions but also.... a bottom. The first one didn’t come with a bottom. I was going to order a replacement part but once these babies are put together that’s it. There’s no taking it apart. SO I spoke with Supinder at Amazon CS and they’re replacing it. It’s still kind of usable but since there’s no support at the bottom the bag would drag on the ground possibly rip open and there’d be no support. It may also be a good idea to put cardboard inside as others have said. It’s jot flat inside and does have the potential to rip the bag, depending on what bag you’re using. Otherwise I LOVE these things. I have almost no issues with quality, it was easy to assemble, they looks nice and have a good capacity.

I absolutely love this trash can! It was easy to assemble, no tools required, and it is pleasant to look at! It is an absolute necessity for the deck of our lake home to keep the area clean and the dog out! It is easy to put in the trash bag and there are no rough edges to snag or tear the bag when you remove it. 10/10 recommend!

We have been using this bin as a staging container for our commingled recyclables. The benefit is that we can keep a much smaller recycling container in the kitchen which we can empty as needed into this large bin. The Suncast bin is attractive and looks great on our lighter color deck. The top has a locking mechanism that simply slides in to lock but this does not provide any kind of "click" or feedback that it is securely locked into place. However, we have not had any issues with any animal tampering. The item arrived unassembled. Assembly was very easy but it must be done in the order indicated in the instructions since some panels have grooves which are inaccessible once other pieces are snapped in place (leaving no gap for the next panel to be inserted). So long as you snap the pieces in the correct order, this easily assembles in just a few minutes. You're left with a very sturdy and handsome resin container that has the appearance of wood and wicker. One word of caution: This bin should only be used with durable trash bags as the interior walls have many hard edges due to the structural plastic interior. I have attached a close up photo of the interior ridges I am referring to. I haven't had problems getting the bags out of the bin but thinner bags will have small snag holes and if the bag gets too full, I imagine this could very easily become problematic as it may cause a large tear as you attempt to pull the bag from the bin. Do not let this deter you however. These interior ridges allow the unit to be very sturdy without adding much weight. As far as using a trash bag, this involves popping open the main door on top, inserting a bag and wrapping the opening over the top edges before you close and press the top until snapped into place. This seems to hold the bag and we've had no issues with the bag dropping out or coming free until full. Reverse the process to remove the bag and put a fresh bag in. If I have any issues, I'll be sure to come back here and post an update.

Very easy to assemble. Easy to use. Very durable. I already had one of these that I have for years. They handle being outside in the sun well. Great quality
