Orei 8K HDMI Splitter 2 in 2 Out, Resolutions Up to 4K at 120Hz, Dolby Vision Pass-Through, HDCP 2.3, Auto EDID Management, Does Not Extend Display (BK-22)

I had purchased this item in order to get a reliable working connection from my thunderbolt enabled Blackmagic Mini Monitor (which is a video streaming device for video professionals) to an LG OLED tv. It does that job pretty well. If I try to connect the device directly without this splitter the TV doesn't seem to take in the HDMI Signal. My current assumption is that, either the splitter adds HDCP to the output signal or it just gives out proper 60Hz frequency which probably my streaming device is not outputting (all though the device used to work directly without the requirement of a splitter when it was connected to a small 24inch ips lg monitor.Additionaly, so far, I haven't been able to actually get two HDMI outputs from a single input which is what this device is natively supposed to do. But I would chalk that up to some complication arising from the fact that the origin of the HDMI signal is the Blackmagic Mini Monitor complicating the HDMI protocols.

The media could not be loaded.

From 8 HDMI out only 1 or 2 HDMI out was working. Price wise not recommended product to buy. I bought splitter from market @ 1250 and it is now working fine.

Its not working. I replaced the order. The new one also not working. I dont know how to cancel this. I think I cant cancel/return if it not working. I lost money!!!

DO NOT FORGET to change the switch from TV to STD, or you'll only get 1080p resolution like I did. Fortunately, the manual explains it.Also, buy HDMI 2.0 and up cables, although my pastor innocently bought older 1.4 cables and I was still able to enable HDR on Windows and it worked.However, I only got up to the max 4K30 that HDMI 1.4 version allows, which surprisingly looks acceptable for 30 Hz but not optimal like 60 Hz.If I enabled 4K60, Windows would send 4K signal but TV would only display 1080p signal, and definition obviously suffered. Curiously, bitrate went up to 12-bit from 8.If you have a laptop like I do in church, you'll get two choices by default in the Windows display settings: the laptop screen as #1, and the splitter as #2.Keep in mind that if you have displays with different resolutions, the splitter will only allow you to select the lowest resolution on Windows.As an example, I have two 4K TVs mounted on the altar's wall and one 1080p TV on the opposite wall. I can only run the 4K TVs in 1080p when that one is turned on during services. Brethren are non-techies, so they don't notice, but I do, ha-ha!On movie nights, I don't have to turn it on, so we get the full 4K resolution on the altar TVs.The fit and finish on the splitter is very nice. I think the price is fair.

Buscaba un splitter que duplicara la señal HDMI en 4K 60hz para así tener conectados mi monitor y mi tableta de dibujo, y este splitter ha podido con los dos.Al principio pensé que iba mal ya que sólo me sacaba la señal en 1080p, pero al cambiar el modo EDID de STD a TV subió a los 4K esperados! Y hasta ahora no he tenido problemas con la señal, ni siquiera cuando no estoy usando la tableta.La única pega que puedo darle es que los LEDs son increíblemente potentes, brillan mucho, pero almenos sabes qué cables están conectado gracias a ellos. Otra pega es que el cable de la red eléctrica debería ser algo más largo. A parte de esto, es perfecto, y ha duplicado la señal a la perfección.

I have three 24" 1920 x 1080 monitors with HDMI inputs and a 43" 1920 x 1080 TV with three HDMI inputs. I bought three 1 in and 2 out splitters so my computer could have each TV HDMI input mirror each of my monitors. The manufacturer had suggested connecting each TV HDMI input to its corresponding splitter's Output 1 and each corresponding monitor to Output 2. This worked very well.The manufacturer also recommended setting the EDID switch to TV but resulted in strange, monochromatic color on the displays. Resetting to STD corrected the displays.My only complaint are the ridiculously, intensely bright blue indicator lights in the splitters. Since the indicators lights have to face away from the room to allow room to install the cables, the bright indicator lights wouldn't be a problem (they also could be taped over) but the light also shines brightly through the air vents in both ends of the three splitters which can't be blocked off without risking burning up the splitters. It's going to take come creativity to come up with a way to block the light without blocking the air flow. Either indicator lights that shone only through their holes in the front panel should have been used or a way to turn the lights off should have been provided. That cost a star in the rating.

I had bought a splitter on Amazon for about $8 to split the output of a security DVR, and regretted it immediately because the larger monitor was located in another room, so the signal quality suffered. So I went and got this better quality splitter, and et viola! The image quality issues went away, including jitters and grainy images.

I bought this splitter because my older tv would not hdcp with my apple tv (in disney+ prime etc). It fixed the problem! $50 was much less then buying a new tv. 4k 60hz, works great.
