I ended up giving this one away and ordering a different one.

This works great on Lettuce and also gets all the water off the veggies after blanching them for freezing.

It works well! I like the handle spinner vs. string pull. I like the lock on lid and skid free footings. I would have preferred it be a bit larger. The plastic strainer is a bit flimsy but does the job. I used the container to wash vegs/lettuces then pull them out placed into strainer. Drain container then insert strainer then lock in top then turn handle and spin away. Then open cover, then toss greens around then close lock cover then spin away. Twice is nice. Dry dry dry! Take cover off then transfer vegs to pan/pot or lettuces to bowl to complete your salad. Then drain container, then rinse/wash container, strainer, cover. Let sit to air dry. I like it much! Hope it is durable for the long run as I wash and eat a lot of vegs and salads.P.s. I've left excess shredded salad in container after spin dry and has kept fresh for over a week!! No more patting dry with paper towels or hand towels!!

Having raised a large family, we had salad a lot. But now that it is down to my husband and me, our love for salad has been hindered because of the smaller quantity we enjoy. If we get ice burg lettuce, it goes brown before we can use it once you have washed the whole head and it is messy. Bagged salads have that icky fridge taste, and when you wash those, they sog and stick together. We finally got around to getting a real salad spinner and it is so nice. Especially with the lighter leaf lettuce. We heard about it but never got around to it. We are very happy. It is a reasonable price and we are very happy.

I was looking for a replacement for another brand that broke on me. It had a weighted center pump and stop button.Amazon's choice was 2 qts smaller. This is a good size for two with room for larger batches. Easy to clean in a dish washer. Non slip bottom makes it very stable. The mechanism is simple but elegant in the best possible way. I don't see it breaking like my other that was twice as much.Much better than Amazon's choice in my estimation!

Was shipped with a thin box surrounding it, and some useless shrink wrap. It didn’t survive the shipping journey intact, probably for two reasons: the inadequate shipping packaging, and the product itself is made of such hard, thin, cheap plastic, that it would not have lasted long. Also, the two clips did not work. Overall not happy at all with this product’s durability, so I immediately returned it and spent 10-12$ more for the brand name product. In this particular case, I got and returned what I paid for.

This salad spinner replaced a 4-5 year old ten/fifteen dollar spinner than finally broke (& will be missed because it fully disassembled for cleaning). This spinner only separates into three main components (lid doesn't disassemble for thorough cleaning) thus I'm disappointed.Rubber feet hold it solidly on the counter. Spins nice. Drain feature great. Just can't rate better than three stars because of the screws in the lid & lack of full ability to disassemble. Seems well made but can't comment on durability yet as have had it less than a month so far.Manufacturer doesn't recommend putting in dishwasher but we do -- be prepared for it to take up a lot of room but small price to pay for being able to spin a large quantity of lettuce!Update April 2022: We have be using for over a year with a broken lid (teeth slip so PITA to use). Spouse finally demanded a new one, so the search begins (will not be buying this again).

Well made lid for sure, handle and top feel sturdy. Basket with lettuce is a little thin for my liking but does give the produce a decent spin. Not dry but close to. Easy enough for the kids to join in. I like that the spinning mechanism actually grabs the basket instead of just having a force around the top of the basket (like our previous one). No slipping while giving it a spin. Good product, would buy again.

Does the job, not as sturdy as other salad spinners as it isn't as wide, but still does a good job, you just have to hold it down

My old one broke and this one was exactly what I needed. It has a good amount of space and the handle doesn't have a string so it won't brake as easily. My fruit and veggies come out looking good and my family (husband and guinea pig) enjoy the results.

This spinner is light duty. I use it to dry my socks. Lol. Good salad spinner.
