Fancier than I expected!
You get two digits after the decimal point for mm, and FOUR for inches! Tho I don't use fractional, it's a nice little bonus. Calipers slide very nicely and feel sturdy, unlike the cheap flimsy ones I had for the same price.

surprisingly good quality for the $$$
bought this to have something decent around the house/garage that was accurate.after reading a bunch of reviews, i settled on this one.it's better quality than i was expecting. it has a nice feeling heft to it, smooth action, seems well made.i had a harbor freight that was only a little cheaper than this one, but didn't feel anywhere near as good as the neiko. also, it would almost never zero out the same....you'd have to re-zero it every time you closed it.i tested this neiko against a couple of $200 mitutoyo's that we use in the shop at work, and the accuracy/repeatability was very, very close. also tried it on a high end calibration block, excellent accuracy.one of the things i really like is the ability to quickly switch between not only just mm and decimal....but fractions too.the auto on function is annoying, and will run the battery down faster, but it's kind of a minor gripe. i keep the lock screw snug when it's closed to keep from having any slight movement turn it on.quite pleased with this purchase.

Good value, decent tools
Have not noticed any inaccuracy from the calipers. Have checked them on some known reference objects and they check out at the typical accuracy range you expect from dial calipers (say inside +/-0.001" when used correctly). Mostly use them for layout on larger tasks, not precision measuring so much, but I suppose there is no reason they wouldn't serve if your requirements are not in the tenths and calling for micrometers or gages. The angle indicator seems to work well. the magnet is surprisingly strong and accuracy is clearly very good. The accuracy reads a higher range when near the horizontal and 90 degree areas. Outside that range the precision is less, but still I find them plenty accurate for anything but higher precision machining setups.

Great caliper for the price!
The media could not be loaded. As the video states I have been using this caliper regularly for 5 years now and it is a great product for its price. Other reviews have stated the device will turn on “randomly” and drain the battery. It is not random it will turn on when the measurement tool moves. To prevent this tighten the screw at the top to prevent it moving. If you are not going to use the caliper for a while though I would recommend removing the battery and storing it in the case. This will prevent damage to the caliper should the battery leak.

Would buy again.
I needed a decent caliper for a reasonable price. Usually I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for but this tool proved me wrong. So far, the cheapest thing about this thing is the case it came in, it is semi-difficult to open and cheap molded plastic, over time the mold hinges will break apart as there is no mechanical link. It came with simple instructions and in a zip-lok bag with an extra battery. both batteries are cheap chinese will-get-you-by-but-probably-wont-last-until-next-month types of batteries. I strongly suggest ordering a good duracell or energizer LR-44 with your order so they come together. The actual caliper works wonderfully, i especially love the fractional aspect of it. No more math! yay! This thing can measure 5 or 6 different things. Step differences on a shelfed surface, inside read, outside read, comparative reads between two similar objects using the zero function, depth of a void and length of an object. The coolest part is that not only does it have a threaded lock pin to save your place while moving it, but if you power it off and back on later, your read will still be there until you zero or move it. Very nice! I like! Would recommend to a friend, my dog, my mother and my women's lib professor....OK, maybe not to her but you get the idea.

Accurate and worth the money
The OD measuring jaws close well with no light visible anywhere along the length of contact. The smaller ID measuring jaws look to have just a tiny bit of light visible, but it may be my error as the jaws are thin.I did not check the depth checking pin on the end.You can miss-align the jaws by twisting them but they line up pretty well. The jaws don't seem to be hardened, so I would take care not to drop these calipers or abuse them.I don't know if the calipers are water/coolant resistantOpening/closing the calipers quickly did not cause the readings to error or misread, but I was not excessive.I checked these calipers against a calibrated ceramic gage block set.Anything under 1" reads +.0005". 2.000", 3.000", 4.000" all read exactly correct to 4 decimal places. This is within the accuracy and resolution as stated in the printed instructions. The calipers were delivered in a simple plastic case, enclosed in a zip-loc bag with desiccant with a second battery. There looks to be a 4 pin data output port on the top-right of the display. They should work well for my light measuring duties working on 3D printers, small mechanisms, etc...

You’ll be surprised how often calipers can come in handy.
I grabbed these to have around my shop, as more than a few times I’ve run into issues where I wish I had decent set of calipers. I’m glad I did as more and more I find these useful to have around. For the price these are good and seem pretty accurate. They came with a plastic protective case, which is handy, as it protects them for dirt, dust, and any knocks that could throw off the calibration. At first I found it a bit difficult to read the screen at certain angles. However, I swapped out the batteries they came with and that did the trick. Maybe order a few extra batteries if you grab these calipers as the included ones are on their way out.I have also had a small problem with a tiny metal plate that holds the bottom piece of the calipers tight. A few times the screw has come loose and I’ve had to tighten it down. The pieces are tiny and would have easily been lost if I hadn’t noticed. The screw seems to work it’s way loose after awhile so I placed a small drop of crazy glue on it. No problems since. All in all these calipers have done what I’ve needed them to.

Decent quality, "old" stock
An accurate, so far as I can tell, set of calipers at a decent price. Dial mechanical units can be found for less, but buying precision tools shipped through the least expensive overseas postage is a recipe for inaccuracy. Came with a protective plastic case with some inexpensive foam inserts. The unit will also automatically turn on when you start using it. The 'head' end is a bit heavy (compared to dial ones). The country of origin is (mainland) China.Downsides, the units Amazon is selling are pretty old (dated 2018/07) and mine arrived with one of the LR44 batteries installed with no plastic 'protect the battery' tab and dead. The replacement battery is also totally generic and claims EU battery compliance (2006/66/EC), and was a different brand than the installed one.

Nice digital caliper at reasonable price
This digital caliper comes in a nice little sturdy plastic case and extra watch sized battery. The item feels nice and solid in construction. I ordered this to measure the diameter of my wheel hubs before ordering hub centric rings. I was able to measure the diameter of my winter wheels by popping off the center cap as I could not do so from the back side (side of rim that faces in). The arm of the caliper actually was too long for an 18 inch rim to allow for measuring the diameter of a rim from the inside. If I had to buy again, I would consider one that is smaller in length.Other than that, it has come in handy for help for measuring other things like the diameter a seat post for a mountain bike.

Cheap, Effective, Long-Lasting
I've had these since 2018, and it's currently January 2022. I've used them in dirty shop environments and in the office. They've accrued no damage or imprecision that I have detected. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Changed the batteries once, I believe.

1/4" masking tape is actually 61/128" wide. This is a global conspiracy to repress the proletariat!
For the price, no complaints. Based on review, I was concerned about the accuracy but it's really no bad. Came with an extra battery and in a nice little case. Screen sucks, you gotta hold it just the right angle. Numbers are plenty big enough though.
