Yoga Direct Extra Wide Yoga Mat

I don’t find this mat slippery as other people wrote. It’s dense so it absorbs impact well without being overly thick. It’s sticky enough that my feet don’t slide while doing yoga. Great value for the price.

Wider than the usual yoga mat size, comfortable and durable

Perfect size. Great price. but I did not trust the USPS delivery. My order was delayed by them and I have couple order ( not from Amazon) that were lost.

I am so happy I bought this. It is very thick, heavy and excellent quality. My main goal was not a yoga mat but a sound barrier. This is 36" wide which fits perfectly in my doorway. I tested it already (hung it from a tension bar with clips) and there is a very noticeable decrease in noise coming from the other side. I plan to sandwich this in between a heavy sound blanket to create a studio for myself where I can practice music with minimal noise seepage to bother neighbors.I have no doubt this would also make an excellent exercise mat but again for my purpose it fits the bill 100% and I consider it money extremely well spent.

This mat has just the right amount of cushion I needed. Absolutely love the size of the mat. Perfect for how I need to use.

not as wide as i would have expected, but other than that a great mat in every way

I wanted a wider yoga mat.. for a dude. Well, this is a nice and wide mat that my arms actually fit onto for most poses. It is plain, no fancy, nothing crazy. But its wide and works. And it's a thicker material so the comfort is spot on. This is what I bought it for, so 5 stars.If you want a fancy material or fancy patterns etc. This will not be it. If you want a nice wide and thick mat, its perfect.

I purchase this mat because of the additional width which most yoga mats do not have. It allows me to practice my Nei Gong stretches while keeping my joints protected from my hardwood floor. There is some off-gassing but that disappears after a few days. This mat seems well made, nonslip and hopefully will last a long time.

This mat is the perfect thickness and size for me. The price is truly great for the quality of the product. We will be buying another one for my husband.

I am a 6’1 male and the regular mats were just not wide enough. This one did the trick, I have lots of room and there is still room for my girlfriends mat in the living room so we can practice together! Ha. The texture is great and the density is just right. I highly recommend for you tall people or wider bodies.
