Fit for Purpose, Potentially More Versatile
Very sturdy, solid stand. Probably overkill for my webcam. I'm using it with a Nexigo N980P webcam, which had a standard mounting hole for the screw on this stand. The stand is well-made and likely could support a much heavier device. At the same time, I'm using it to place the webcam directly in front of me so it sits in front of my computer screen, but does not overly block the screen. For the price point, it is fit for purpose, versus purchasing those very expensive swing arm webcams. I definitely like the idea of how those work, but their price points (and apparent image quality concerns) made this a better choice for me.

Nice quality, primarily metal construction. Good value!
Better quality than expected and does the job. The swivel ball mount is all metal and solid, as are the main parts of this stand. I'm using it with a small webcam but it would definitely be solid and stable with a larger camera too. Seemed to be one of the thinner units which I wanted as I sometimes use it right in front of my monitor for presentations. Recommended!

A great purchase!
Nice heavy stand that will adjust your camera at that right angle. I went for years with my camera in an awkward position. Staring up at it. Just fixed all that

This is, hands down, the best camera stand I have ever purchased.
The base is the best feature. It is heavy, so no tipping, and flat so it slides under things. Every moving piece of the stand feels like quality, and moves well.I like to use this stand with my camera when doing Zoom meetings. Putting the camera in front of the other person's face allows me to look directly at them. The stand is minimal enough that it is easy to see around when needed.

Great, versatile stand
I purchased the stand to use for video conferencing. It's a little funky trying to work with a camera right in the middle of the screen for a video call (I have a 32" monitor) when you need to look right in the camera but also follow along on the screen but thats not the stands fault. Its solid and stable unlike the tripod one I just got rid of and it has plenty of adjustments to get just the right angle so I appreciate the thought that went into how to correct the ills of the other stands on the market. Overall a good choice.

Just what I need for my music lessons
I am taking ukulele lessons over the internet. That means my teacher needs to be able to see my hands and my uke, while I can see him. Using a webcam with this stand (as opposed to the webcam built into my laptop) I can angle the camera in a way that allows me to do just that. The base of the stand is nicely weighted and large enough to give good balance; far more than a desktop tripod could. Of course, that means it has a larger footprint, but that's a trade-off I can accept. It is easy to set up when I need it, and take down for storage, when I don't. It is also not hard to adjust the height. In addition, the ball-head makes it very easy to set the camera angle. For me, this stand checks every box.

Awesome for desktop webcam
I use this for conference calls and it allows me to put the camera in front of the screen. This way I can look at the camera and make virtual “eye contact” with whoever I’m speaking to. It’s a great plus.
