Replacement 100 litre pressure vessel for use in sanitary cold/ hot water systems, suitable for nearly all domestic waterworks, solar and pressure maintenance systems and garden pumps. This pressure vessel (type 100 l pressure vessel) will be delivered including the EPDM rubber membrane. The vessel is designed for a maximum pressure of 5.4 bar and will be delivered for a vertical positioning. The vessel is checked for tightness with up to 5.4 bar water pressure by the producer. It has a 1 inch (32.89 - 33.25 mm) pump connector. The pressure vessel additionally has an integrated valve (Schrader valve/ car tyre valve) to regulate the counter-pressure in the space between tank and membrane. These vessels are made of quality steel sheets and are welded according to UNI-EN standards and equipped with a heat and ageing resistant EPDM rubber membrane. The membrane can easily be exchanged. About the pre-charge in the pressurised vessel: The pre-charge pressure should be set approximately 0.1 - 0.2 bar lower than the switch-on pressure of the pump and has to be checked regularly. Any failure of observance may cause damage on the EPDM rubber diaphragm of the pressure vessel. A more accurate calculation results from the pump's switch-on pressure x 0.9. Example: Switch-on pressure of the pressure switch of the domestic waterworks is set to 1.5 bar: 1.5 bar x 0.9 = 1.35 bar. This means the pressure can be set from 1.3 - 1.4 bar. Important: The vessel's pressure should only be inflated or deflated after the pressure to the water system has been released beforehand. Attention: It is necessary to have released the air and water pressure before opening of the pressure vessel!
