Louisville Slugger 2013 Xeno Fast Pitch Softball Bat

Unfortunately, I just ordered this bat and was shipped the 2014 version instead of the 2013 version. I purposely scoured the internet looking for an old version as I wanted to seemlessly replace my daughters broken one with the same color and avoid any "changes" that the company made to its manufacture as she loved it just as it was.Please change the ad to list that you are buying the latest version to save this confusion.

The bat performs as advertised. There was a noticeable increase in ball response. The only negatives we can think of are that the tape holding the grip wrap unravels after about 2 weeks of use. A bit of colored electrical tape fixed that. Also, WHITE grip wrap probably isn't the best choice of colors for a bat. The bat grips look grimy and old after only a week.

My daughter has always had issues with hits stinging her hands (she tends to step out and hits off the end of the bat pretty regularly) BUT she has never -and I mean never- been stung with this bat. She used a Miken and a '11 Easton Stealth and has retired them both. The Miken is dead, and the Easton, while a decent bat, stings her pretty regularly.

Bought this bat for my daughter. Her hits have a lot more pop to them now and that makes her more confident at the plate.

Great right out of the box! My daughter is using it for off-season practice for now. She has a 2011 Xeno and it is a bit light/short for her now. This is size/length bat should last her for at least two years.

My daughter loves her new bat. She had out grown her bat. Her friends told her to try hers Louisvilee Slugger 2012 Xeno. She loved it. When she connects right the ball flys!!!

Bat broke in half after 10 days use. However, company did an excellent job with return and exchange. Highly recommend the company but cannot recommend this particular model bat.

The bat is great. Personally I think the 2013 has a lot more pop in it than the 2014, but anything made by Louisville Slugger is great.
