Q: can they easily be broken? And why is there so little string for the price and amount of kits.

They are flat clay discs, and require a lot of them per inch. They can break easily if you use string or monofilament (fishing line). I use stretch elastic string. The “beads”, flowers and such, can be painted with glue to help keep them from breaking.

Q: What are the buckels for and how do you use them?

My grand daughter is the expert- but they are closures for a bracelet or necklace, I believe you can hook them together.

Q: what size are the jump rings ?

I would put them between the 4mm-6mm sized for the set that I got not sure if they’re the same size in every set (but you would think they would be). Hopefully this helps you out and enjoy the set while making fun stuff with the beads
