Soudal 102853 Silicone Remover, White, 100 ml

Worked well for me, I had to remove all the old sealant and rock grip around shower tray, whoever did the original job meant it to last forever.Very difficult to work in the confined space so ordered SOUDAL which was delivered next day, applied it all round the tray and an hour later removed all the old sealant with ease.

This took the silicone off very well, but it didn’t take it off so well on the chrome.

I’ve used this product before and have had great results without the normal trauma removing silicon around my shower, it makes the job quick and easy.

Removed silicone from a bath with minimum effort. I painted it on, left it for fifteen minutes and wiped it off with kitchen towel. That simple. I strongly suspect however, that it depends on what type of silicone is being removed.

I bought this thinking that I could use it to soften the silicone around the bath without needing much elbow grease. But that's not the case. You need to use a scraping tool to remove as much of the silicone as possible before applying this solution to the remaining bits that just won't come off. It did a good job and those stubborn bits just wiped away with some paper towel in the end. Needed to apply it a few times to get all the excess silicone removed, but it did the job.

As it says removes silicone might have to do a second for stubborn bits

I only provide reviews for really excellent products or really bad ones, and sadly this is a bad one. I really cannot understand how Soundal can put their name on this product. It must be the worst Silicone remover I have ever used. I thought No frill silicone remover was bad, but at least it did work after several more applications. This stuff is absolutely useless at removing clear silicone. Maybe it's OK for white pigmented filled silicone but it can’t even remove less than 1mm of high-quality clear silicone off wall tiles or shower tray!Applied as directed and this silicone remover failed to do anything, left on for 4 times longer and applied more every 30 min. Silicone is less than 1mm thick. Very disappointed!!I personally would remove this product from sale as it is that bad on clear silicone!

Y lo primero es sacar y rascar todo lo que puedas de forma mecánica la silicona una vez que ya queda solos restos. Estos son los que tienes que aplicar este producto. El producto funciona muy bien, tienes que tomar en cuenta el tiempo que necesita para poder ser funcional y también tienes que tomar en cuenta que este producto no va a dañar. En ningún caso, ningún tipo de azulejo, yo lo utilizado sobre gres y ha quedado muy bien. Ya que el clásico uso de la acetona siempre termina rompiendo algo. Cómo, por ejemplo, El epoxi, que tiene en la superficie, las mamparas de cristal del baño

Den Großteil des alten Silikons sollte man bereits entfernt haben. Dann trägt man den Entferner auf die dünnen Reste des Silikons auf. Wir haben es ca. 20 Minuten einwirken lassen und konnten problemlos diese "weichen" Reste vom Silikon entfernen. Tut was es verspricht.
