Coffig Roasted Fig Beverage

I've tried 6 or 7 of the most popular instant-dissolving coffee substitutes, plus Coffig. Being a life-long coffee drinker, I'd say my first reaction to coffee substitutes is their weak taste and lack of body and fullness in the mouth, compared to a good ol' Americano. The Coffig product is different in that you make it in a coffee maker or steep it in a tea-bag type arrangement (I use a French Press). It has much more body and roundness than the instant types, plus a very subtle sweetness. The smell of it in the package is heavenly - mmmm - figs! One-half teaspoon makes 1 cup, without any weakness or thinness. With the instants I usually double the recommended amount. So the small Coffig package goes a long way. Also, after adding the hot water to the French Press, it can be poured almost immediately and does not take a couple of minutes to darken like regular coffee or tea.

One must pay close attention to the recommended brewing amount which is 1/2 tsp per cup otherwise you'll end up with a hot beverage that's like drinking molasses or old coffee that has been on a hot plate for hours. If prepared right it is not bad and does have some coffee like qualities. Per preference, sweeteners and cream may make it that much better. I would say it's better than Pero and I may buy it again.

I love coffig and suggesting it to all my students. (I am a teacher and an Ayurveda Practitioner). I shall be suggesting it to my clients who are trying to find good coffee substitutes for sure. The flavor is amazing. The only downside is its a little expensive. (Otherwise five stars all the way). Do they know they have an Ayurvedic Coffee on their hands. Figs are said toincrease prana and ojas ( vitality, immunity and energy) and are a staple in Ayurveda in many forms.

I love this stuff. The Doc said no more caffeinated coffee. I used decaf but the acid still affected me. I have tried a lot of different hot beverage drinks including the Maya Nut beverage. This stuff rocks. I use a rounded table spoon in my drip coffee maker for 3 cups in my large coffee mug.. I add a 1/2 shot glass of my favorite coffemate creamer and wala....love the taste and on a cold morning it's delicious....I hope you feel the same way after trying it. Also to clarify...I tried it black with a little sugar. While the taste isn't unpleasant, this is strong stuff. Don't use more than a 1/2 teaspoon per cup. I prefer it with a little flavored creamer...

I can’t handle the caffeine in coffee and not even in decaf coffee. Coffig is delicious, and I don’t feel “off” after drinking it. It does require a bit more of the coffig in water than is recommended, but it’s worth it to. E. I’m trying follow a Keto diet, so I add some half and half and enjoy it every morning. It’s delicious!

Coffig "s company is Awesome. My first order of the coffiq was not delivered to me, it was not the company's fault. Coffig's CEO wrote a nice letter to me letting me know that the replacement will be arriving priority. I received the coffig and luv it. It is delicious and healthier for me.
