Amazing product! Love it!
Product is sturdy, powerful and versatile. The ability to point the light and magnifying glass where ever needed is really handy. The desk top, JollyCaper is nice too, but this one can be used on garage work, washers and screws on utilities, specifically inside an on demand water heater and the clamp addition makes mobility easy. Splinters in feet and fingers can't hide from this magnifier. The only improvement would be if it came with a case.

Better than expected
Ok so I read dozens of reviews before buying this and did so with great trepidation. Multiple reviews claimed this was a poor product due to it tipping over. Well ANY lamp no matter how heavy the base is, is subject to tipping over if extended over the point of no return. This lamp is no different. The base is heavy but I suspect it would tip over if extended all the way. But this lamp comes with a base AND a clamp. If you clamp it to your table it will function perfectly fine even extended to the max. This is just common sense and not a defect of the lamp. It works great and I LOVE how you can switch to 3 different lighting styles. One seems white, one yellow and the 3rd combines the 2. I am pleased with my purchase and would give it 5 stars if the arms were a little longer and the price was a little lower. It was shipped and came faster than the estimated time. If you are a hobbyist or simply have bad eyes this lamp is for you.
