Easy to put to use to repair my steps and railings

I didn’t have any issues with quality or consistency. They are designed not to need pre drilling, but if your wood is old and vulnerable and cracking already then do yourself a favor and just pre drill it smaller than the screw.

Perfect for trex decking

I needed some short (1 5/8") screws for outdoor use and my local hardware stores had a limited selection. I found these on Amazon and was quite pleased with the quality. One warning to those who typically use outdoor star drive screws and that is those typically use T25 drivers whereas these require a T10 driver (I was a bit too much in a hurry when ordering and missed that little detail). A quick trip to my local hardware store quickly fixed that problem.

I really like the T25 feature. I use these for all sorts of things from wood working, hanging tools, securing loose wall sections and steps. Drilling a pilot hole is often a good idea. Very forgiving - they come right out easily if necessary.

I've been buying these deck screws for years, big fan of them. I always appreciate there's a bit inside, because I've lost more of them than I can count.
