I got this for my husband since he has been taking saw palmetto for a couple of years now, and his current bottle was about to run out. Once this Bunkka saw palmetto arrived, he started taking it with no issues and finds the capsules easy to swallow with no odor or taste. What we didn't realize at first is this Bunkka brand contains 2,000 mg of saw palmetto per capsule, and the brand he was taking before this one has 450 mg per capsule with a recommendation to take two per day. So he has gone from taking 900mg per day to more than double that. I am not sure if this large dose is recommended. He hasn't had any issues so far but it has only been about five days or maybe a week. Before continuing to take it, he is going to check with his doctor to find out if 2000 mg each morning is OK for him to take. I recommend others do the same unless their doctor has prescribed such a large dose of saw palmetto.Overall, these seem to be good quality but offer quite a large dose of saw palmetto, much larger than we realized. Make sure that amount is what your doctor recommends.

I have started taking this supplement a week ago, but it's not clear how to tell if it is working or not. I can think of one measurable thing - time between bathroom visits, and I'm pretty sure it hasn't changed. I was hoping the booklet included with the product would explain how it works, but alas, there wasn't one.Not FDA approved, hence some justified skepticism.

I use saw palmetto to reduce trips to the bathroom in the night I like that these have a large dose of Saw Palmetto, I take two of my current capsules to get a similar amount. Its too early to know if these work as well or perhaps better, I need to use a product like this for a month or so to kind of average out. The capsules seem small for the quantity of product they contain, so small in fact that I weighed them to see if they could possibly have over 3 grams of content each. They are small enough to swallow easily. The contents are ground much finer than my other Saw Palmetto capsules, perhaps this is why so much fits. I'm not sure if the other ingredients do any thing for me, but I don't object to any of them.
