Basic, ok for backup if your good scissors dull, or as a starter set, but not really good for your main set.

I think these are a great buy for as little as they cost. Keep in mind that I'm only grooming 1 standard poodle and a mini aussie. They're getting the job done. I really like the way they look. I got the red set and they really pop. They're comfortable to hold and handle. They can be tightened and sharpened which is very helpful and as of now they seem like they'll have a lot of longevity. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because I think a 5 star rating is reserved for things that are basically perfect. I definitely recommend this set to anyone who has a pet that needs regular grooming whether it be light or heavy.

The scissors seem like a great starter set. I’m having great difficulty though because they did not send the tightening key so mine do not cut well, and it’s incredibly hard to try to tighten the without the key. I would probably rate higher if I could get that key

Sharp. Easy to hold. Affordable, all in one set. Professional dog grooming equipment is very expensive to buy and maintain. Purple dragon scissors shears always worth the money!

Nice kit for the home groomer who wants to keep their dog’s coat neat and trimmed. I like the red color as it is easy to see where the blades are in relation to my baby’s skin.
