My husband doesn't play cricket but he's a serial hobbyist and always wants more gear for his collection. That being said, we have never held a cricket bat before and don't know how this compares to others! I will say that it feels balanced in your hands and light enough to react quickly with a swing. Playing with it just in the park, swatting a ball around, has made us really curious about the sport and interested in signing up with our local recreation league, so good job Amazon adding one more hobby to my husband's extensive list.

This lightweight cricket bat from Bratla is reasonably well constructed bat with sanded edges and reasonably flat surfaces. Many holes have been drilled laterally through the bat reducing weight and structural integrity, and some parts such as the tip and the holes are less finished with rough edges and splinters you can feel. The driving surface is smooth and curved to catch the ball and drive it where you want, and the long wrapped handle provides fine control whether using the bat either one or two handed. It is extremely light (just 1 pound) and easy to swing but nonetheless generates lots of power. I've not used it for match play, really just tossed it around a bit to get a feel for it, but it seems very well suited for its purpose. No complaints.

This is a cool cricket paddle. Very strong and durable. Very thick and will last a while
