If you are SUP surfing in big waves you need this leash
Nothing pulls on a leash like an 8' 6" 130 L SUP surfboard in big waves. You can't duck dive, you can't turtle roll. All you can do is dive down and then wait for the wave to release the board. With all that board volume dragging you, you're going to need an 8-mil leash.Pro tip - when you bail, cross your ankles over each other - with the one attached to the leash protected from the pull by the toher ankle. This has the pull absorbed by both crossed ankles instead of having the one with the leash dragging you backward and straining your back and knees

Used the product for Sup (stand-up paddle)-surfing. I liked its comfort.

Comfortable but not the most durable, good customer service
This leash worked well for about 25-30 sessions. I just ride a Wavestorm 8ft board so I got an 8ft leash. The velcro and strap part were great. But then one day I was riding the tiniest waves I’ve ever been on, literally like half a foot, and the board just tugged once in a wave and the swivel part just snapped off from where it connected to the strap. Was really hoping it would last me longer. I enjoyed it for the few months I had it but not the most durable.The company graciously reaching out and offered me a replacement or refund for the leash which I was very happy about. Great customer service.

Brilliant service!
Excellent quality leash. Had to buy this for me and a friend as leash that came free with boards was not good quality and had no quick release railsaver. Haven't tried it out yet but can't wait.
