1g is enough for melting indium and application. Just be careful and patient when applying.

Liquid metal has been HUGE as far as TIM goes. As long as you know what you are doing with it, you can't go wrong. It lasts a long time and cools better anything else on the market. Thermal Grizzly themselves are an amazing company with amazing products. I have both this and the Kryonaught thermal paste. Between the two you just can't go wrong. Especially for direct die contact and delidded processors. It will drop you CPU up to 20° C! Which is utterly amazing. This allows me to run a 5 ghz all core OC with a 5.2 Ghz turbo boost on an i7 8700K. Which is really good for that chip. I recommend this to anyone that needs a gallium based liquid metal TIM.

I used this to replace the poor installation of gallium, that Asus put on my Zephyrus gaming laptop cpu. First of all; You have to have patients to remove the old stuff, which took me 4 hours to remove properly. Then you have to apply this properly; If not; laptop go POOF! The first time you turn it on. With this Grizzly extreme, my temperatures have gone down almost 10°F. I believe, that it's a combination of asus factory poor application of gallium, and this Grizzly, being a better quality liquid metal type thermal solution. I would would recommend this to anyone, that has the patients to go through the process properly; and it IS a process. Watching some of the youtube video's helps tremendously!

Replaced stock liquid metal on Legion Pro 7i with this and temps are much lower. Worth the high price for the excellent conductivity. Just wish there were a couple more Q-tip things.

A super product - not for the faint at heart but once used properly it blows away any other product in this category.
