Very durable, comfortable and hard wearing.
I've been wearing Merrell Moad mid rise boots now for over 15years on a daily basis without any issues whatsoever. I'm 22 stone and these boots get abused constantly. This purchase is my fourth pair in all that time, but there is still a lot of life left in two of my previous pairs. The only pair I've managed to wear out went at the heel cuff, not the Goretex, sole or the synthetic leather itself. Truly remarkable footwear when it comes to durability. But its not with copromise to comfort at all. Quite the opposite in fact. They are extremly comfortable right out of the box. A little stiff at first but they relax fairly quickly and mould to the foot well. Being both breathable and waterproof because of the Goretex fabric 'sock' makes the boot amazingly comfortable. No sweaty feet or 'trenchfoot' after walking outside in the rain. You get what you pay for in this world, these are definitly worth the price. Can't praise them highly enough.

Superb so far but a bit small/right so maybe go up half a size as I did
I’m usually an 8 to 8.5, most reviews say true to size but I ordered an 8 a d with a good pair of socks they were very snug. I then ordered an 8.5 and they are a much nicer fit.Really comfortable with no rubbing at all (and new shoes/trainers usually run my feet somewhere).Nice and warm and although I haven’t worn them in really bad weather they have been dry and comfortable. They have a really good grippy sole, I hope it lasts as walking shows I’ve owned previously with a good grip on the sole have worn out fairly quickly. My only small negative is the laces could do with being a few inches longer to get a decent double knot in them.Overall a really good, sturdy, walking boot. Size wise I’d go up half a size.Good thing on Amazon now is the Amazon Wardrobe so you can order both sizes to try and send the ones back that don’t fit so well.To be honest I did manage to find these a fair bit cheaper on another website but when I needed to order the half size larger only Amazon had the size in stock.

So far so good
**update after 15 months **They are looking pretty worn now, but have lasted really well and are still comfy, warm and waterproof. The sole is starting to come away from the uppers in a few places, and they don’t grip so good in the mud.But the have lasted way, way, better than previous pairs of boots & still wish I’d gone a half size up***update after 9 months***Have worn really well, averaging 7k steps a day for 9 months covering the day in office & walking / jogging with the dog on road & local hillsHeels are starting to show wear now. But they have done much better than my last few boots/trainersDefinitely go at least half size up*** original post***Comfy right from the off, but too small. Loads of support and a bouncy step. They were tight fitting, and haven't loosened up with wear. Would be too tight with walking socks. Should have gone 1/2 size bigger than normalLook like black trainers rather than shouting TACTICAL WALKING BOOTS or somesuch which is good

Great boots !!
The media could not be loaded. It's been a while since l bought merrels as I lost faith in their sizing, they were either too small or narrow, however these boots are perfect. Incredibly comfortable and my job entails a lot of walking, usually 10+miles per day so l am delighted with them. Indeed l am writing this whilst on a wee break in Inverness where l have spent 4 days Loch and hill walking and have clocked (according to my Garmin) 60 miles with no blisters or any discomfort whatever. They are also waterproof, not just resistant but proof and have been through streams and decent puddles to the laces with no leakage at all. For £70 I'd definitely recommend. My wife was discussing my upcoming birthday and l have said another pair of these boots would be great !!5th June 2023.The video is taken on Pettycur beach with my dogs. Boots are still completely waterproof. I now have 2 pairs and alternate each day wearing them. Comfortable and excellent grip as well, the water here is up to the ankle and feet were bone dry 👍

decent boot with good sole
I bought these as a replacement for similar Karrimor mid-height boot which I had two pairs of but tired of soles wearing out very quickly. After six months I would say these are a very similar fit boot, but the vibrate soles seem to be holding up much better. grip is good, comfort good and they're quick to lace up. Twice the price of karrimor but probably better value.

Pretty good but arent lasting long
Bought 13th March, now 31st May, for walking the dog and going to work without getting my feet wet. Had Merrell beore and liked them. But these are already showing signs of bad wear, dont think they will last much longer. They are comfortable, puddle proof and good for hiking, but overall, diappointed in longevity. Picture just shows one, the other has started to rip too.

Really comfortable, lightweight waterproof boots
Bought these for a trip to Iceland after trying more boots than I care to remember. I wear a size 12 shoe and thought I'd go a size larger to allow for thick walking socks. I tried numerous boots in a size 13 and one size 14 - all of them were too small, even when wearing regular socks. After reading the reviews on Merrell Moab 2 I thought I'd give them a try via Amazons try before you buy. They are a perfect fit and really comfortable. I can't believe how lightweight they are for such a sturdy boot. I walked around 30 miles in them in Iceland in rain, ice and snow and my feet were warm, dry and comfortable. I highly recommend them.

Mother of all boots

Waterproof and comfortable
These shoes have been great for me since it started snowing here in Vancouver. My feet are warm and they don’t get soaked when it rains or when I step on snow. It may get inside the shoe if you bury your feet in deep snow.

comfortable
I work at UPS so I'm on my feet all day and sometimes in the rain needed to find a good waterproof shoe for the summer instead of wearing boots. This is the first affordable waterproof shoe that's I found that is comfortable. I'm a huge fan of this brand and also have a pair of there boots. the fit is good and they had them.in a wide which was awesome!
