No batteries. Read the description. You just plug it. Easy, very efficace, very good appliance. Use it a lot myself.

How can i avoid splashing of other liquids such as milk?

Use the correct container for volume of milk as it will always rise and spray

Does it come with a case to keep it in please?

The tube is the case it unscrews in the middle but only for one whisk at a time.

Is there any warranty on this item?

I don’t know about an extended warranty but by law it has to be fit for purpose for 12 months ok
