Tea Infuser for Loose Leaf Tea - Black

This little tea infuser works perfectly. Just make sure you don't set it over a cup or mug until it's done steeping. I absentmindedly did just that and had a weak tea LOL as placing it over your cup makes it drain its contents into your cup. To clean I just bang it upside down over the wastebasket and spray the rest into the sink. It's so easy and the material feels like quality. It did finally stain a little bit as a result of adding fresh grated ginger root, turmeric root, and red hibiscus tea! The best of it is the fine mesh screen. Even my fine china tea with a diffuser lets bits of tea leaves go through into the cup.

There is nothing to dislike about this product. You can tell if your tea is ready with this see-through vessel. It is easy to clean and rather attractive. I purchased the orange colored one because it was less expensive. I guess if there was one con for this product, but not really a con because it still works fine, is that the bottom portion of the tea infuser doesn't fit over mega sized mugs. However, as long as you can push one portion of the bottom onto your mug, it works just fine. So, really, this isn't a deal breaker at all. I am happy I purchased this product.

I have been using this product daily for nearly 3 weeks. I drink about 32 oz of red raspberry leaf tea per day for pregnancy. I know reviews complained about heat retention. I've had zero issues. To brew my tea, boiling water for 15-20 mins steep time is required. My tea is perfectly hot after this period. Also, it seems durable. It is quite easy to clean. No issues with leaking either as some have mentioned. One time, due to baby brain, I forgot to replace the filter. Yes it leaked, but that was user error, and no fault of the product. I hand wash only. I've never run it through the dishwasher. It has so far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend. I just wish I purchased it sooner!

we use these in our coffee shops for steeping loose leaf teas, you just add the amount of hot water you need to fill the cup our teas call for 206° water so we use a kettle to heat our water (im sure for at home use you could put in hot water from a keurig, a teapot or microwaved water) & then once it’s steeped you put it right on top of the cup, it presses down & your cup is full! quick & efficient! our baristas love to use it & cleaning is very simple, the filter inside comes right out and the top lid comes off as well. it also comes with plate to sit on, in case you have mats on your bar top.

Works great! I'm a big fan of loose-leaf tea and this makes things so much easier!
