My daughter bought me the small wooden Tower Bridge model for Christmas and I enjoyed building it so wanted to look for another one to do. While browsing i saw this one and was a little bit hesitant because of the price. After some rational arguing with myself about wether or not to buy it i eventually decided to go ahead and ordered it. When it arrived I must admit that I was quite underwhelmed at the size of the box but on opening it the contents are quite comprehensive. The model itself was fairly straightforward to build and the parts all fitted well together. One important thing to point out is that you must follow the instructions exactly or it's easy to make a mistake during the assembly. The finished model not only looks great but it's also fully functional with a working safety catch and fire selection lever. The magazine is also removable and it comes with some small wooden soldiers to use as targets and a big bag of rubber bands. Having completed the model now i would have to say that it is worth the price and it far exceeded what I was expecting. If you like building this type of wooden model then this is a great one to add to your collection. An easy five stars.

This was a brilliant build and lots of spares that I assume were made to fill the space of the boards and allow for lost bits without stopping the build. The safety switch and full auto/single shot switch really work which I didn't expect to work to be honest. Full auto is a blast for all of 2 seconds and then reload of 10 bullets takes about 30 seconds so I keep it on single shot now when firing for my cat :) The size is not too big for a model but a decent size for playing with a cat or anything else that will chase a rubber band over about 5 metres, maybe a drunk loved one if you miss them with the shot, not that I tried that ;) Lovely details and only the sight was a bit of a let down as it was detailed but did not flip up unlike all the other parts which moved freely and I don't want to force it as it looks like it should move but doesn't move freely.

Good quality and well made model, assembly is challenging (in a good way) and rewarding. Works brilliantly when built. The only downside is that some wooden parts are so thin and fragile that they can snap when applying enough pressure to fit them!

Not one for leaving reviews but this was easily the best money i have spent in a long time, i wasnt expecting much from the price i paid but i was blown away by the quality of the materials and the finished product. The instructions although very clear and easy to follow where a little small to see. Throughly enjoyed the build was very impressed with the quality everything worked as stated at the end of the build. 100% happy, great build, great product.

Super! Alle Teile haben ohne Probleme zusammengepasst, gehalten und die Mechanik funktioniert reibungslos! Mein Sohn war begeistert.

J’ai fini cette beauté il y a deux jours et honnêtement j’en suis fier, pas trop compliqué, pas trop long, et pourtant le résultat est magnifique ! Quelques pièces fragiles mais très peu, un peu de délicatesse et c’est bon. En plus sur les plus fragiles il y a des pièces de rechange.
