Product does exactly what it needs to do, tension adjustment works well and no sag in monitor when using it

The images show this being used in various arrangements which include direct to camera frame or to a top handle - the description also says directly compatible with Smallrig frames - which it absolutely is but with the slight caveat mentioned in the headline, which is that my particular Smallrig frame (for a Canon M50), will only accomodate the 3/8 screw (inc 2 locating pins), on either side - not on the top as pictured. Absolutely doesn't present a real issue as my monitor also has a mounting arm that solves any positional issues. However, if you expect to mount your monitor as shown in some of the pics, be prepared to find that you can't - it will depend on the frame you have.Again, that's a very minor issue and, given the variety of mounting solutions for accessories, doesn't really present a problem - I only mention it so that you can manage your expectations.So, that being said - it's a lovely little adapter. Very compact, very well made and finished, and operates very smoothly (angle and rotation adjustment). Both knurled thumbscrews are easy to adjust even for fat fingers, they're a decent size and the knurling is very grippy. Even taking into account the above, it makes monitor attachment much more flexible.Price-wise, at a penny under £35 (currently), I don't think it's actually too expensive - it's a quality bit of kit and does the job it was designed for (I certainly couldn't make it for less). However, at that price it's certainly something that you should buy only if you have a real need for it. If you're filming regularly then I can see this tidying kit up when using a top handle - and tidy = efficiency and fewer errors (generally). If such is the case then it's easy to recommend.

This is strong yet lightweight. Fits perfectly. No wobble or any issues when using. Monitor feels secure. Easy to dismantle when needed. Amazing quality and price point.

This is excellent quality and very strong. Easily up to the job of holding my small monitor on top of a cage. Plenty of adjustability to get it set up just right and no chance of it moving once tightened up.Excellent.

Picked this up, as I needed some sort of mount for my light or future monitor, and already had a cage for my camera. Definitely a solid mount! Out of the box, the axis comes cranked down to the vertical position, so it needed a good half turn to allow a little bit of swivel.

£36 at time of reviewCan’t fault this, yeah it may seem pricey for what it is, but it’s fantastic quality, and if you have ARRI fittings on your cage or handle then this will give good solid hold.Hope my review was helpful

This is a well made compact monitor mount.It’s strong enough to hold my montior with two large batterys attached.It is easy to adjust to your desired angle and the swivel and tilt motions work perfectly.The side tilt locking knob is convenient, simple to use and flexible.It feels solid when in position, the machined aluminum alloy is durable and easily supports and secures my monitor.It stays where I position it and I can move the camera around safe in the knowledge that the rig is stable.You can get cheaper products that do a similar job, and i have had those, but this is in a different league and far better quality.In my opinion it is worth every penny.If you have an expensive camera and storage device then this is a trivial additional cost which is worth the outlay.I hope you find my review helpful. Personally, want to save some extra dollars when building out my rig so I chose this one over the small rig. Really pleased with the quality and the usability. Me personally, I mounted it on top of my top handle and connected my ninja monitor to that.
