I’ve been using this Chefman XL Electric Griddle for awhile now, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. The cooking surface is much larger than I expected, making it easy to cook breakfast for the whole family at once. I can fit several pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage on it without feeling crowded.The nonstick surface works very well. Food releases easily, and cleanup is incredibly simple. The removable temperature control and drip tray are thoughtful features that make washing the griddle much more convenient. I also appreciate how evenly it heats across the surface—my pancakes come out consistently golden brown instead of being overcooked in some spots and undercooked in others.The adjustable temperature control is easy to use and allows me to cook everything from eggs to burgers without any issues. Despite the large cooking area, it doesn’t take up an unreasonable amount of counter space and stores easily.For the price, this griddle offers excellent value. It’s well-made, easy to clean, and perfect for anyone who cooks breakfast regularly or needs extra cooking space for larger meals. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable electric griddle.

This electric griddle has been such a great addition to our kitchen, especially when my kids want to help cook. The large, flat cooking surface gives us plenty of room to make pancakes, eggs, grilled cheese, quesadillas, and other easy meals together. It is much simpler than having several pans going on the stove, and I feel more comfortable supervising the kids because everything stays in one controlled cooking area.It heats evenly, is easy to use, and makes cooking breakfast for the whole family much faster. The kids love helping pour pancake batter and flip their own food, which makes mealtime more fun and gives them a chance to learn basic cooking skills. Cleanup is also much easier than washing multiple pots and pans.Adult supervision is still important, since the cooking surface gets hot, but this griddle makes cooking with children feel much more manageable and organized. It is convenient, family-friendly, and something we use all the time. I would definitely recommend it to families who enjoy cooking together.

I am glad I bought this griddle. It gets hot enough to make crispy hashbrowns, and it is small enough to have a fairly even temperature gradient from front to back. Nothing sticks - hoping this slick surface will last. It runs a bit hot compared to other griddles I've had over the decades, so I turn the temperature dial gradually to find the right temp range for whatever I'm cooking, which is a small price to pay because it does the best job of all griddles I've ever had for achieving that even, golden-brown, crispy crunch for grilled sandwiches, perfectly fried eggs, pancakes, and as mentioned, crispy hashbrowns (for the first time ever). I'm sure it will do a great job with meats and veggies. I wonder if there are desserts I could griddle ... ?Cleaning it is a breeze since nothing sticks (so far - it's still new). I am glad it is dishwasher safe. I worried it would be too small. Rather than too small, it simply lacks that too-cool-to-cook void space in the center that larger griddles have.I thought I'd spend extra time cooking pancakes, but surprisingly, I didn't. I've tended to cook above the heating element where it's hot rather than in the center - apparently I always bought griddles that were too large. The perimeter on this griddle is a bit smaller than that for larger griddles, but not so small that it noticeably affects how long it takes to grill a batch of pancakes. So essentially, the smaller size of this griddle only reflects its loss of the cooler center that I din't use anyway.Its feet line up really well with the grate that covers my gas range, which is a very nice feature (I wasted a lot of time adjusting and fiddling with trivets under the feet of my previous griddle to support it because its feet couldn't line up with the grate).Yup, I like this griddle.

Bought this mainly for indoor BBQ and I’m very happy with it. It heats up fast, cooks meat evenly, and the nonstick surface works really well. We’ve used it for Korean BBQ, steak, and pork belly, and everything came out great. Cleanup is super easy, especially with the removable drip tray. Perfect size for a small family.

I really like the large cooking surface because I can make pancakes, eggs, and burgers for the whole family at once. The nonstick surface works well and the removable temperature control makes it easy to clean. The drip tray is also a nice feature.The only thing I didn’t like is that the heat is not always perfectly even across the whole surface, so some areas cook faster than others. Other than that, it’s a good griddle and very convenient for everyday cooking.

I ordered this griddle a couple of days ago and used it for the first time this morning. Please note that anything in the "Cons" section is not meant that there is anything wrong with the griddle. I have a very very small kitchen with little counter space. I am older and my eyesight isn't what it used to be. If I were younger, these items would not be an issue. So here goes:PROS: The griddle, I feel, is very good quality. I love the non-stick surface. It looks nice. It did not take long to heat up. And as I found this morning when I was cooking bacon, it is nice to have that little drain hole and cup. After the bacon cooked, I was able to tilt the griddle holding it by the legs, and let's some of the bacon fat run off. After that, I tried frying an egg. That came out well, even though I messed it up when I tried to flip it! It appears that the griddle does heat up evenly. As you can see by the photo I have provided, I cooked up five slices of thin cut bacon. I used the recommended temperature of 350° and it worked out just fine. The griddle is easy to wash by hand.CONS: As I mentioned above, I have very little counter space in my small kitchen. Although the griddle fit well on my countertop, I lost some counter space. This was not too much of an issue while I was cooking. Where it was an issue for me is waiting for it to cool down before I could move it. If you have a larger kitchen and more counter space, obviously this will not be an issue for you. Also, to me the design of the power cord and temperature control could be improved. Most electric appliances that I have used with such a cord have a red light. This one has a blue light, and I can barely see it as the blue sort of blends in with the black. Also, since the temperature control is curved, I'm limited to where I can plug it in. If it was straight, that would be great. It is a shorter cord, but apparently that is a safety factor.SUMMARY: The griddle is good quality. It was packed well. It has a good user manual. It looks nice. I was pleased with the way it cooked bacon. So, I would recommend this if you as an option if you are looking to buy a griddle. As to the cons, again this is due to my age and my eyesight. And the limited space that I have. The griddle worked very well, in my opinion. I hope that these comments or helpful thank you for letting me share them. Happy cooking to everyone!

I waited for a while to write this review to have time to use it a few times. I'm impressed with the nonstick surface. There is no deed for any kind of lubricant and It cleans easily. It doesn't heat evenly but that's common. I can't state how well it will last, but so far it performs extremely well. Highly recommended.

Hubby is making pancakes again! Our old electric griddle gave out. We replaced it w/the Chefman Electric Griddle. Nice size griddle for 2. We have a small kitchen & this is a good size for us. “Just Right!”

I’ve had for six months now and it works great. have had no problems gets hot really fast easy to clean and take care of. Makes perfect eggs, grilled cheese and pancakes.

We bought this griddle and it has been amazing. My family uses it all the time to grill meat. The size is just right—not too bulky but has plenty of cooking space. It gets hot very quickly, making cooking efficient and hassle-free.
