Worked in a kitchen, needless to say. You will get burns, from oil, degreaser, steam. And unfortunately they will scar. I forgot to take pictures of the before and after. But after using this consistently for about 2 weeks I noticed a difference and after about 2-3 months the scars are barely noticeable. Don’t peel or get gummy on the skin and an easily be worn under lotion and makeup.

Great for my large scar after rib surgery! After 6 months of consistent use, my scar is barely visible. I will definitely purchase again.

I really like this product. My skin doesn’t heal well leaving what looks like a burn mark which takes years to diminish. This product is actually helping to reduce the red marks substantially. I only gave it 4 stars because the tube it comes in is maybe aluminum and it’s hard to get the product out. I have reordered because this is the only product I’ve tried that is true to its word.

This Cicatricure gel has really made a difference in my wound healing! My cat loves me, but she bites me which leaves ugly wounds on my arm. I would wait up to 3-4 weeks for them to heal/fade. But, with this gel, within a week, my wounds are practically gone! So, instead of 3-4 weeks, I’m now at 1-2 weeks…amazing! With spring/summer on the horizon, that means I don’t have to wear long sleeves…Very happy!!

Nothing terrible, but nothing transformative either. What I Liked: Gentle formula: The gel is lightweight, fast-absorbing, and non-greasy—perfect for daily use on my forehead scar and a small cut on my leg. It hasn’t caused irritation or breakouts, even on sensitive skin. Pleasant texture: It comes in a handy pump bottle, which helps control the amount and keeps things hygienic. It also absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any noticeable residue. Slight improvement: My older scars seem a bit lighter and flatter than before, which is a nice change. What Fell Short: Limited results on newer scars: My more recent incision mark saw little to no change—no noticeable fading or smoothing. Takes time (and patience): I used it twice daily as instructed, but after six weeks, the progress has been modest at best. It just doesn’t seem potent enough for deeper scars. Pricey for what it is: Compared to other silicone gel options or generic scar gels, this felt a bit expensive given the average results. Verdict: Cicatricure Advanced Scar Gel isn’t bad—it’s gentle and well-tolerated, and it offers mild improvements for old scars. But if you’re hoping for visible remodeling of newer or deeper scarring, it might leave you wanting more. A solid “fine but not fantastic” 3-out-of-5.

Works better than cheaper imitations. This cream is the real deal! I had been using cheap silicone creams and having little to no improvement in my scar. This has visibly improved coloration of the scar in a short time.
