I bought these to try and lower my cholesterol, it is slightly elevated. They are great as they have nothing in them apart from plant sterols, others on the market have additives in

I’ve been taking these for 2 months and have just had a cholesterol test done with my GP. Surprisingly my cholesterol has actually risen from 5.5 up to 5.9! What a waste of money!!

The media could not be loaded. I'm of an age where most people I know are either taking statins or taking supplements to try and control their cholesterol levels. I don't want to have to take statins so I'm trying plant sterol supplements.So what's good about them?• 'High strength' - good, I want to give it a proper go.• Four different sterols, I'm guessing variety is important.• Made in UK and compliant with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) which is always good to know.• Vegan - this isn't an issue for me but it is for some, so it's worth noting.• No additives or fillers. Excellent.• Recyclable packaging.• A tree planted with every order - I don't know where the tree is planted or what type of tree it is but if this is correct then I'm all for it.The capsules themselves are a little bigger than standard size and have no discernible smell, but you can see the white powder inside them and they're easy to swallow. I honestly don't know how effective they are but I'm due to have blood tests in a few weeks and it will be interesting to see how my numbers compare to a year ago.At £16.99 for 120 capsules which is two months supply at two capsules a day (as at 13 July 2023) this seems to be about the right price to pay. Worth a go.

I bought these Capsules because they were very easy to swallow but they are totally ineffective. I increased the dose but it still didn't have any effect on lowering my cholesterol. I am very disapointed.

No idea if these are working me (needs a before and after fasting blood sample) but the premise is good. These are supposed to be taken a half hour before a meal which I find difficult as I'm always busy cooking.
