Amazing bbq
Firstly arrived earlier than expected which is always good 👍 very quick and easy to set up. Light weight and portable, like the way it folds up and is compact and easy to store. Easy to clean excellent value for money. Cooked food quickly and evenly! Would 100% recommend

Cannot fault it
This grill is great, bought it for our motorhome and it works a treat, nice and compact and lightweight but with big cooking area.

Good gas bbq
Having had charcoal bbq’s in the past you can sometimes wish for a quicker more convenient cooking experience. I opted for this gas bbq for three reasons. Firstly I wanted a decent size for cooking, portability and I wanted a stand. My main use for this bbq is for nice days at my allotment. However not wanting to leave anything of value there I needed to be able to transport and store the bbq when not in use at home. The first surprise when this bbq was delivered was the sheer size of the box (massive) however I’m pleased to say this was due to lots of good packaging to protect the bbq. There is some building to the bbq and as in most cases the instructions could be clearer but this wasn’t much of a problem. Some people have commented on the build quality and durability, again until it’s put through its paces I can’t over comment. To me it seems solid enough for purpose. You get what you pay for and I think for its price it’s fine. Supplied with the bbq and its stand is a bag containing a clip on gas regulator, 2 hose clips and a short gas hose pipe. I didn’t see them mentioned in the description when I bought it but it did come as an added bonus. As I’m unfamiliar with gas bottles and what regulators fit, I can confirm the supplied regulator fitted the 13Kg Calor patio gas bottle that I bought from my local supplier. As mentioned above the included gas pipe is short in length, however as I have the taller gas bottle I have no problem with the pipe reaching from the gas’s bottle to the bbq. If however your wanting to still use the stand and a smaller gas bottle you will most likely need to buy a longer gas hose pipe to reach. Some people have complained about this issue but as the regulator, hose clips and gas pipe were an added bonus I don’t think you can complain if there not quite right for how you decide to setup ad they were a bonus. The bbq to me feels quite heavy and sturdy. The cooking plate is divided in two halves and brags that it can cook up to 20 burgers at a time, which can jive you an idea of the cooking plate size. the bbq can be placed on a suitable floor or suitable table top or used with its included stand. Giving you options for your setup. The stand is made out of thick plastic and opens like an ironing board. The bbq can be screw attached to the bbq stand so that it all folds down then can be moved (dragged) on the plastic wheels from say your car boot over a short distance to where you want to setup. For now I’ve opted not to secure it to the bbq stand. So I can use it on my table top or place it in its stand depending on how I want to setup that day. The BBQ also has a drip tray underneath the unit to catch grease while cooking. The bbq also has a gas flow control knob with built in ignition. Like most units that have a ignition you do sometimes have to click the on off a couple of times to get the spark to ignite the gas, then simply adjust the dial for your heating and cooking preferences. Over time I’m expecting the ignition to fail, to me they always seem to have a short life, maybe this one will prove different only time will tell. If the ignition fails I would simply turn the gas on to minimum and use a match over the burner to ignite the gas then place the cooking grills on place, Hardly a hard problem. The bbq also built into the lid as a thermostat so you can see the internal temperature. Personally I’m not going to go down the road with a heat gun as to how accurate that it as that’s not a dealbreaker for me. The bbq also has two small clip on side shelves made out of thick plastic perhaps for cooking utensils but there nothing amazing, yet something is better than nothing. The cooking burner is long and oval design, meaning you will get plenty of well spread out heat under the cooking plates for good heat distribution. All in all this is a good value bbq for the price. Small enough to fit in the boot of a car for trips out, yet able to deal with plenty of hungry people. Setup the stand within seconds, place your bbq ontop of the stand ( if you didn’t opt to mount it to the stand) clip your regulator onto your gas bottle and a couple of clicks of the ignition and your heating up. By the time you’ve unpacked the cooking stuff and utensils the bbq will be hot and ready to work. Perfect for taking in a car boot, cooking in your garden or for me using at my allotment. Once I’ve enjoyed my day, place it back in the boot of my car and store the bbq away from unwanted intruders. It can’t give it 5 stars because very few things in life are perfect in all aspects. However for its price and what you’re getting I give it a solid 4. Also if I had to buy again I would buy this one again. People normally only spend time to write reviews over bad experiences to vent their frustrations. So to take time out to write a review for you for something that I consider good should tell you something about the product. Hope this information helps others out there come to a conclusion on this bbq. In regards to if it suits your needs. :-)

Well made grill.
My search for a portable barbecue/grill brought up this light weight George Forman beauty. Minimal assembly is required only taking around 15 minutes. The grill's larger than expected + well made. It has two removable grill bar sections for cleaning. I haven't used the grill as yet, when I do, I'll update this review. I would imagine this grill would be particularly useful for caravanners/motorhomers/campers, I'd recommend it to anyone no matter what use it may have.

Sadly, cheap but not cheerful.
You will read mixed reviews on this BBQ. Sadly, I had to return mine as unfit for purpose. This was bought for our Motorhome as it will fit/store under the bench seat. On unboxing I found the handle cracked through, obviously disappointed but as didn’t affect the strength or handling I hoped that it was liveable with? On first use it seemed to cook okay, unfortunately cleaning was not easy plus the cooking plates were covered in soot and blackened my hands trying to clean it off. Trying to clean hands afterwards took as long plus residual was always left and all cleaning aids were binned on each occasion. For size and portability it seems a good buy, I may of been unlucky with burner issues, the cracked handle was strange as its packaging seemed to well protect the BBQ. The Amazon seller was brilliant, I had faultless support and the return was a smooth process.

Great value
My freestanding 7 burner BBQ had succumbed to rust, the plates over the burners no longer rested on the lugs which had rusted through, the holes in the lid had rusted through so could no longer hold the grill and the heat was uneven. It was a bit of a beast and a lot of money gone, after maybe 5 years. I purchased the George Forman a the beginning of this summer to see how it performed. It was a lot cheaper than the old type BBQ, takes up a fraction of the space, is fully portable, and could quickly clean and easily be stored. My initial plan was to buy another if this one worked out. Not necessary, this was fine for cooking for up to 8 people. I would like a grill rather than a plate but the plate does make for more even cooking , less flare-ups and it is easier to clean. It is bigger than I expected but is easily stored on a shelf in my shed. The metal is thicker and will take a lot longer to rot through than my previous BBQ. There are no lugs for the cooking plate to rest on, instead, the base profile is shaped to accommodate them and I get back some of my garden. I didn't buy the stand, I use a wrought iron table to stand it on, when in use

The grill plate is very thin
1. It tends to burn stuff. There is no IR effect from the grill plates at all. The hot air through the holes contributes too much. The grill contributes too little. 2. The grilling is VERY uneven. From practically none at the front edge to "to a crisp" in a few places 3. Relatively easy to clean. Dishwasher does not work, scrubbing removes stuff OK. Overall - it just about does the job as a portable BBQ, though it is a bit too big for carrying around. There are smaller alternatives which grill better.
