The product is great but the way Amazon mail them out is appalling. The mail them just in the thin clear plastic bag they come in from the supplier. My first order arrived split open with some missing and a sticker on it from the Royal Mail office apologising that this was how they received it. I packaged it up well and returned it to Amazon and reordered. The second order arrive in a Royal Mail plastic box with half the dowels in and half out of the plastic bag. Amazingly they were all there so as I really needed them I kept them. Good value, good quality poor delivery by Amazon

Could be better

These were super smooth, perfect for the math activity I bought them for. I don’t purchase much lumber, but these struck me as a good deal as they are durable enough to be handled, tossed around, and even dropped by students. Good value, too—totally beat hobby store prices.

Perfect for crafting. They are a good length *although they can be cut if need be.
