Used to fill in urine burned patches in the lawn and this stuff did amazing. Grass has grown in thick and vibrant, it’s durable and holding its own against the dogs 🤣 I Would recommend

This does work. I think 80m2 is a bit ambitious if you want a thick lawn. Grows quite sparsely. I don't think it's particularly fast - 2+ weeks to see shoots and longer for it to graduate from being grass shoots to lawn. It's better than Johnson's but not as good as MiracleGrow in terms of doing the job, probably the best value for money though.

I used the product to over seed my lawn early September 2022.I cut the lawn short. I scarified my lawn. Aerated. Then used the product with a spreader doing multiole passes. Then a high phosphorus lawn feed to aid germination. I used a thin layer across the entire lawn of Jack's Magic Compost as a topping to aid lawn growth in general being careful to removed. You can also use top soil or a mixture of topsoil/Compost for the same purpose and/or lawn levelling. I ensure spreading using reverse flat edge of a garden rake.We had plenty of September rain. But you must water when seed is germinating or it will not fully germinate.Within three weeks my lawn quality was much improved and clear where I had overseeded and treated. I did a first initial cut after 18 days at high level.I gave some to a neighbour to do patch repair and he had 2 cm growth in 7 to 9 days.The product is easy to use. Is clearly fast acting/germinating.You do need to do all the steps at the right time of year. Cut. Scarify. Aerate. Seed. Feed. Topping (Compost/tip soil). Rain/manual wateringI would buy again. Good product.

I sowed some of the seed in November. It didn’t produce any growth. The weather has never been consistently above 6 degrees which may be why it’s not growing. I reserved some to sow as the spring temps approach. I’ll need to see how it goes from there.

We decided to try growing our lawn as an alternative to turfing an area of 8m x 8m and we can honestly say we're glad we decided to go down this route. I was a bit apprehensive due to the unpredictable Scottish weather but fortunately there has been plenty of rain with a few dry days with sun and the temperatures have stayed around the 15C mark, which has made it perfect for growing. Although we did see some blades of grass within as little as 3 days of sowing, I wouldn't have ran out of fingers if I'd tried to count them! It's really taken until Day 10 when suddenly the seeds appeared to have exploded into fine blades overnight. From this point on, each morning more and more grass has appeared, becoming brighter and thicker each day. I realised pretty quickly that I was over-watering at first as it hasn't rained for about 4 days now and the soil is still pretty moist, so there's no need to water it as I found sections were becoming soaked, which isn't ideal. We purposely over-sowed to take into account losses of seeds to birds but we've had no issue with the birds at all, suggesting the bird deterrent of this product works well, although I do also have a cat but he's kind of useless. I would have no issue in recommending this product to others, although you do have to follow the instructions and put down some Growmore first. We used a spreader, which has really ensured even coverage and so far it doesn't look as if we have any patchy areas.

Great. Grows quickly

We have had to use more than the pack suggests to get full coverage - especially where there was no existing grass. We covered with top soil and stamped down and have been watering in the evening. Appear to be working well in a little under 2 weeks. Some areas taken better than others, hoping it will even out over the next few days. So far so good.

Very good ,new grass came through very quickly within a couple of days.
