Works as advertised but need converter parts do downsize to 1-1/2" attachments. Switching between ports is very hard.

Best diverter on the market at this price.Why pay more!? It would be silly. I was skeptical at first because it's almost half the price of others. Well sometimes cheaper doesn't mean cheap. Solid product, I use two of them on my 18x32 pool to control water flow ,fountains and jets. They work flawless at very high pressure, I have a two speed pump and I can shoot a 3/4-1" stream of water across my pools 32' span and into neighbors yard and these bad boys are up to the task,easy to change flow even at high pressure and gpm.also locking features in case running even more psi.If skeptical don't be

I wasn't sure how this works. Basically you push in the handle and turn the valve to where you need it to go. The "flat" part of the valve that faces the opposite side of your grasp (in the product picture the flat side is on the bottom left) is the side that closes off whatever it's facing. In the product picture, it is facing no opening and all ports are opened.

The FIBROPOOL branded valves and products are much higher quality than the copies. FIBROPOOL has valve threads that go all the way out to the opening of the neck. Other brands I have bought on Amazon do not. Other brands threads were loose and did not extend all the way out to the opening, so on some fittings only 3 threads would engage and not tight enough to seal. Also one of the other brand valves came with a crack in it. I would only buy the FIBROPOOL brand after this experience.

I have worked with PVC and FRP piping for more than 40 years. I bought this valve because it was compact, had threaded connections and a good price. The valve I received was impossible to actuate and I thought I was going to break the handle to get it to move, even after I put some silicone lubricant on it. I am hoping that means the seals are tight. A 10-inch pipe wrench got it moving and now it seems to operate normally.The valve seems designed to take flow from the 90-degree connection and discharge in the direction of the handle. When the handle is aligned with the main axis of the valve it is in 90-degree flow mode.Time will tell how the service life goes.
