Nice color, works as expected. Definitely a two person job. The trick is to spray the right amount of water and to remove all bubbles. Definitely should invest in the installation kit. It made the job less frustrating. The tint will wrinkle easily so handle carefully. It stays when dry.

Install a pain but it does work and look good. The only thing I was disappointed was the bronze finish is on the inside of the window, not the outside. Silver outside

I can only assume I'm not the only one and the actual product rating is a lot lower.**Original Review - Our front door is steel and the sun beating down on it (it’s in the west side of the house so it gets 3 hours of direct sun exposure a day) makes it very hot. I thought this would be a great product to put on our storm door (the glass door in front of our steel door) to help block the sun and decrease the heat. We installed it last night (which wasn’t super difficult). This morning, I opened the door and put my hand on the face of the door...it was just as hot as it’s always been. I was really hoping it would be a good, inexpensive solution for us, but it just doesn’t work as advertised. Amazon was wonderful, as always, and allowed the return.*

I put the film on our storm door to help block heat of sun an I was really surprised it Really knocked out . At first it didn't want to stick to door but I took it down an turned it around OOPS ! Now it looks Great !

I bought this film and for lowering cooling costs and reducing glare and fading from sunlight, it works great. I love the copper tint too because it keeps a warm look in the house while blocking the actual heat and UV from the sun. The overall temp reduction is around 5-10 degrees F in a day, very useful for the side of the house that gets hit with sunlight during the hottest part of the day. The mirror aspect is great as well, can’t see in at all, even when they’re not in direct sunlight.That being said, install was horrendous. I could not for the life of me get the film to lay flat with the protective film still on it, and trying to hold it down with a couple of tools (ruler and measuring tape) damaged the ends so I had to cut extra off to remove those parts. Even removing the protective layer caused some dents in the actual film.Used a LOT of soapy water (lay a towel underneath the install window if you have wood edges or floors like I do) and noticed the film was very easily damaged by using a plastic flat edge and DEFINITELY by trying to use the metallic one I got from Walmart.Then, after having pushed out all the bubbles best I could and lining things up, it kept sliding when I tried to cut the small bit of extra it recommends having when you cut. I had to keep sliding it back and aligning it and using an exacto knife/box cutter was VERY difficult to cut through the film. I kept ending up with jagged edges and openings at the edges of the window.I don’t know how they got such a perfect seal in their own picture but I definitely did not achieve that. And because of it, every crack, jagged cut, dent, and bubble was very apparent.Overall I would call it a sort of win.

This one way mirror film made my home more private and beautiful. It is easy to install, brings a reflective mirror finish to a window or glass door, and looks great from both the inside and the outside while still allowing me to look outside.

Did what the instructions said. Had a hard time with the curl that had set from being rolled up so tight. That made it hard to cut it precisely. Two people should install it.

Great product, easy installation ( only challenge is to lay flat for cutting from the roll as it tends to roll backs, had to put some long pcs of hardwood planks to keep from rolling back and than cut but once cut & you peel backing & wet with soppy water it stays open for installation ) if you follow instructions and YouTube videos. will buy again for more windows for sure. Quite a difference for controlling heat and pretty good privacy definitely.

I love this, from constantly having people looking through my window i now have privacy and it is great.

I like it. Removing the protective film then applying a single piece was at times very difficult but I've done this a few times so I figured it out. The film is nice and clear to look through, but I wish the brown tint faced out, and the silver finish faced in like a mirror.

I loved the concept but it is not easy to apply by yourself on large windows or glass doors. Should cone cut to size needed or slightly oversize. No adhesive backing must apply water mist often while laying on film. Also did not realise would be so opaque and thick on the inside view at night. I felt like I had zero windows at night specifically. Removed same night- will have to freecycle this product since cut already.
