Best Choice Products 8 Panel Multicolored Wooden Baby Playpen

I purchased this playpen because my little one was becoming mobile and getting his hands into eveything and everything into his mouth! The 8 panel playpen is HUGE. A lot bigger than I thought it was going to be, so there is plenty of room for baby to crawl. I also like that the top rail is high so it prohibits baby from pulling himself up. The quality of the wood is okay for what you are using it for. The wood is thinner, so an adult leaning on it or pitting a lot of weight on it may not be the best idea. It came in a box where you have to assemble the panels and feet. I made the mistake of not following the directions and had to start over, so make sure the rounded part of the panels are facing up and the flat part of the panels are facing down. What I liked the most about this play pen are the colors and easy door latch. My 4 year old granddaughter could not open it and my grandson who is a climber was not able to climb up because of the vertical slats. I used this playpen to protect our Christmas tree. It worked beautifully . The negatives is that it slides on a wooden floor and it is not collapsible. You will need to take it apart when it is not being used. It is easy to put together once you get the system. It was a head scratcher to start with.

Please make sure you look at the stars and read through the reviews. I received this item in the mail exactly a month ago and a few days ago it broke. This is a wooden play pen made with cheap wood that has possible splitters and cheaply painted to add on top. I noticed the paint was peeling and cracking in spots after opening from the box but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and went along, keeping it. Well I wished I returned it since the walls actually broke where one of the screws were at. So disappointing since I spent the $$ on this just to buy another play pen.

Most of the box is great, the colors are bright and enough space for the child to more around. The only problem is the door. It broke from the first use, so when had to have the door against something to keep the kid in the box.

Pro: easy to assembleCon: falls apart. I ordered this a few weeks before my son was born so I only recently put it together when he started to roll all over. The gate door was the first to fall off. Either the dow rod was not long enough or the holes were not deep enough. Then the other rods alone the side started to fall out! I am so disappointed. I would Never buy this item if I could do it again.

It does not seem sturdy enough to contain a toddler. The wood is chipping and I am afraid that it could give my son splinters. I returned it because it’s not worth the money.

Would not recommend. Arrived scratched. Wood is super flimsy and doubt that it will contain baby lomg. She's already able to move the panels. Wood chipping off the tiny wood gate lock. The gate is held on with itty bitty wooden dowels that fall off if you open the gate. Definitely not worth what I paid.

Not safe! My 11 month old was able to take the gate apart and got out of the playpen. Luckily I was in the room and heard the gate fall. Scary to think what could have happened if I had stepped away. This product is not sturdy enough to hold a mobile baby.
