Too large to work in French outlets.
Does not work in France!! The problem is twofold: The prongs are thicker than the holes in the wall socket and so it droops down and doesn't make contact to generate electricity. I purchased 3 weeks before my move to ensure I would have before moving and now I am unable to return because the return date is within two days. The adapters I purchased from another company for use with other electronics work fine, so I know it is not the outlets where I am living. Such a disappointment!

Worked fine with Dell laptop in Iceland
I prefer to use a replacement power cord when overseas, rather than use an adapter. I replaced the USA cord on my Dell laptop with this one while working in Iceland and it preformed perfectly.

Exactly what I needed
I bought this for my laptop as an alternative to getting a travel adapter, most power supplies will accept a wide range of voltages etc, so this worked like a charm and I didn't have to suffer with a loose adapter when I was in iceland
