Super privacy
After reading a lot of other people's reviews about this product, and now having it installed inside my minivan for a while, I decided to share my impressions on this product. I purchased 2 sets of these curtains to install in my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan that I have converted into a sleeper van. As others have stated, the hooks are in weird locations (one at each end, two close together around the center, and then two more equally spaced). The smell that others have mentioned is noticeable but not overpowering by any means (they smell like a new product that has plastic backing). The curtains are rather stiff, much like tote bags, but are easily formed around where you need them to hang. I have drilled a few small holes into the plastic trim around the van in order to more easily place the hooks to keep the curtains in place, and then use clips elsewhere to get a more tight fit to keep out people who like to look inside your vehicle (my windows are tinted quite dark, so there's not much that can easily be seen anyway, but at night with an interior light on, I like to be able to obscure that as much as possible. All in all, these are great curtains, and are very similar to what you see inside the sleeper area in a tractor trailer (semi truck). They are fairly costly for curtains, but they are also very sturdy and super blackout quality.

Perfect for camping in the rear of my 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee (wk)
These is exactly what I was looking for camping in the rear of my 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I back into the camp space so the rear hatch is next to the site and I sleep in the back. Unfortunately this puts the clear front windshield in the direction of rude campers that don't turn their headlights down when coming in at night or children that just love to play with flashlights. Yes thank u mr huge rv dude that comes in at 2am with his high beams on trying to find his campsite, I was planning on waking up to use restroom. Thanks for waking me up to remind me. I'm glad u found ur spot ok, ps the walkietalkie have a volume control and the idea of using them is u don't need to yell to ur spouse when she is backing up. The center two hooks loop around the windshield mirror. Next two hooks on each side are on the sun visor bracket arms and then back each side to the rear ceiling handle. This covers the windshield and front two windows perfectly. Rest of my windows are tinted dark enough to provide the privacy I'd be looking for and are not street side anyway.

Great For Car Camping Privacy Curtains
I use these as privacy curtains when I am sleeping in my Toyota FJ Cruiser in campgrounds. One curtain covers both front seat windows and the windshield. Another curtain wraps from the side "B" post at the rear of the front passenger window all the way past the (2) rear passenger side windows and covers the entire back hatch window on my 2013 FJC. You basically need 2.5 of these curtains to cover the entire FJ, as the third curtain takes care of blocking the (2) rear passenger windows on the driver's side of the rig with material to spare. I installed the curtains fairy quickly and easily at my campsite, then turned on both interior dome lights and closed the doors. Looking at my rig from the outside, it was almost undetectable in the dark - that's how well these curtains block light from entering or exiting the vehicle. The curtains are plenty long enough to fully block even the extra large front windows in the FJC, and the material is sturdy. Each curtain comes with roughly half a dozen rubberized hooks placed at fixed points along the top of the curtain. The hooks work fine, and I would give 5 stars of there were more hooks or if the hooks could be moved along the top of the curtain to accommodate different attachment points. Having used these curtains in a non-commercial "truck," I feel confident that with a little effort they could be made to adapt for car camping in any SUV, Subaru, or "cross-over" type of vehicle. A very good product for an economical price.

Good quality and price
We never got to install these due to buying a bad product to hang them on but they appeared very good and seemed as though they would have lasted a long time. They have already lasted a long time in my garage

Really dark curtains
I love it. The curtains are really dark. It gives you privacy. I ordered 2 of them. This way I have my entire truck covered inside. The passenger and the driver side.

Vehicle/Use case: RV cab Install method: bungee & hooks Time to install: ~10 minutes Why I Bought It: I wanted a simple, budget-friendly way to block prying eyes and cut the glare/heat in the RV cab when I’m parked or sleeping. The RoadPro RPCC is a single black curtain panel measuring 28 inches tall by 11 feet (132 inches) wide. That’s a lot of coverage—about 25.7 sq ft—without the weight or bulk of a full-height drape. What’s in the Box & First Impressions: One black privacy curtain (single panel) Material feels like a mid-weight synthetic weave with a soft hand. Seams are straight, hems are even, and there were no loose threads on mine. The fabric is opaque in normal lighting; you can’t see shapes behind it unless you put a bright light directly up close. Installation & Fit I ran it on the edge of the above cab bunk just behind the seats. The panel slides smoothly and stacks compactly to one side. At 28 inches tall, it’s perfect for mid-height coverage—for example across the windshield/upper dash line or as a mid-cab privacy band—rather than floor-to-ceiling blackout. If you need a full-height divider, you’ll either: mount it higher and accept a gap below, or pair it with a second panel or a sunshade. Tip: Measure your span first. At 132 inches wide, it will span the vast majority of cab widths in one run. If your track/rod is shorter, you’ll get nice gathers (which also improve light blocking). If your track is longer than 11 feet, expect a small gap unless you add a second panel. Light Blocking & Privacy: With gentle gathers, the curtain blocks sightlines effectively from outside the cab and dims interior light. In midday sun, a faint glow comes through (it’s not a thermal blackout drape), but silhouettes aren’t visible unless a bright interior light is pressed right against the fabric. At night with the RV cabin lights on, I still felt comfortable—no obvious shapes showing from outside during my walk-around check. Thermal & Noise: This is a privacy curtain, not an insulated one. It does take the edge off radiant heat and reduces windshield glare, but don’t expect dramatic temperature drops by itself. Noise reduction is modest—enough to dull the “open cab” feel but not a true sound barrier. Driving & Daily Use The panel stacks neatly and doesn’t interfere with mirrors or controls when opened. When closed, it naturally drapes flat; I didn’t need extra magnets or weights. We remove it from the bunk edge when travelling and it folds up easily and tightly for easy storage. Care & Durability: Dust brushes off easily. For cleaning, I spot-cleaned with a mild soap/water solution and it air-dried without shrinking or wrinkling. After [X weeks] of use, the stitching and hem are holding up well, and there’s no fading. Safety Notes: Keep it secured open while driving to preserve full visibility. You can easily mount rods/track so nothing can fall and interfere with controls. We did not need to do this as it stays in place easily when parked and in use. If you use a tension rod, set it tight and check it after large temperature swings. Who It’s For: Drivers/Campers who want quick privacy and glare reduction without installing a heavy, full-height system. Anyone needing a wide single panel (up to 11 ft) for one continuous run across the cab. Who Should Look Elsewhere: If you need true blackout or thermal insulation, consider a lined/blackout curtain or insulated window covers. If you require floor-to-ceiling separation, the 28" drop alone won’t cover it. Pros & Cons: Pros Generous width (11 ft) covers most cabs in one piece Opaque, non-shiny fabric provides real privacy Easy, fast install; slides smoothly on rod/track Packs small; simple to remove and clean Good value for the coverage Cons 28" height is mid-drop, not full height Not thermal/blackout rated No included hardware beyond plastic covered hooks (you’ll need your own rod/track) Bottom Line: The RoadPro RPCC does exactly what it promises: quick, wide privacy with minimal fuss. If you understand that it’s a mid-height privacy curtain—not an insulated, full-height divider—you’ll likely be happy. For me, it’s a practical, affordable upgrade that improves comfort on breaks and overnights without complicating the cab. UPDATE: We have now used the curtain for the summer camping season since we bought it. My wife and I are very happy with the ease of use and durability of this product!
