I went with this cover as it would match the faucet and including backing to help prevent buckling.I definitely recommend this product as it is one of the few that I found which included solid rubber backing and will help support not only the plate but also your faucet.

Got this to convert our bathroom sink from three holes to a single for a new facet we got. Good materials, sturdy, insert provides support and seals against water. Had no problems installing with the facet and it looks great.
