**Q: Is the base included?**
A: No base is included

**Q: Are assembly Tools included?**
A: I haven't opened this one yet, but I have yet to buy even the cheapest model that didn't come with at least a couple of tools.

**Q: Where would one get the hexagon base pictures above?**
A: I ordered it from Amazon but be prepared, it comes from China so it will take a couple of weeks to arrive.

Excellent 3D puzzle with a beautiful finished product. Many of the leg joints do not fit well - too loose - causing it to be floppy and unable to stand when complete. I ended up taking the legs apart and using small pliers to squeeze the ends together slightly to ensure a snug fit. See photo, tighten all this type of joint end as you go. It now stands perfectly. Also, the nuts do not stay tightened very well, so I followed a tip from another reviewer and put a dab of finger nail polish on the tip to hold them fast. I gave it 5 stars because it is doable, and is so pretty when finished, but it is a challenge, to be sure.

This is a very complex model and provides hours of fun, a couple of things that I might add to help a future builder is; have a set of reverse tweezers, a couple very small drops of superglue and a micro screw starter. Items will come in very handy.
