myHummy Mini Sleep Sensor (Light Grey)

There is a lot to like about this device. Switch it on when your baby goes down for a sleep and if they stir at any point this will trigger and start up again until they settle. This is a great idea which can aid sleepless nights no end.I do have a couple of criticisms however:1. The noise is quiet. If your baby goes down awake, it can help them get to sleep, and the same if they stir. If they wake up screaming, they are not going to hear this. At all.2. It may be because I'm just a man, but I really struggle with the controls on this. Press for 1 second to switch on, press again for 1 second to switch off. Perfect, I got this. Okay, now press and hold for 2½ seconds exactly to turn the volume up, or 3 seconds to change the noise tone. Oh you didn't want to change the noise? That's fine, just press for less than 1 second to the power of 5 for each cycle of tones.Okay, I might be exaggerating, but there are no visible buttons on the device; it's just press and hold to do this, press and hold for a slightly different number of seconds to do something else etc. etc. I get they tried to make this as simple as possible, but my memory is used up solely with 80s film trivia - I have no space to remember which press does what.

Works well but is expensive, im sure a cheaper alternative is just as good.

We have an older model of the hummy bought in 2018 for our older son that was an absolute lifeline it improved our sleep so much. With our second son not sleeping and needing white noise we purchased a second one for him, unfortunately this newer model is no where near as good, doesn't cut in when he wakes and doesn't seem to fade out as well. Disappointed.

I bought this for my one year old after our white noise machine broke and another cheaper one was just plain awful...Even though it’s a little expensive, I wish I bought this mini bear earlier.The noises are soothing, it has a 12 hr constant setting, volume easily adjustable. Easy to hold and transfer it when I take my sleeping boy to his room.I use rechargeable batteries, it’s on for about 12-14 hrs a day and needs battery change after about a week or so.Definitely would recommend, worth its price!

We have a Ewan the Dream Sheep already and only bought this new product for the sensor now that baby is in her own cot. The sensor is excellent; however, the sound is muffled as though the batteries need changing (which they don’t) and changing the volume isn’t always easy due to the single button. It does the job but could be a better product.

Bought to keep in the stroller for when baby doesn’t sleep well, but in less than 5 uses (not even used for the full hour it can run for!) the batteries were flat. I was using Duracell batteries so it isn’t an issue with them.I wouldn’t really recommend above Ewan the Dream Sheep if I’m honest.

I bought this when my son was 4 weeks old and it’s really helped him distinguish between night and day. I’ve found the battery life really good. We have it on every night and the batteries seem to last around a month. The sensor is brilliant and it comes on at a small sound. It’s also the perfect size and fits in the cot brilliantly yet can also be moved around and used easily when out and about. The sound and quality is not hindered by the small size at all.

When I first saw the price of this i admit i was seriously put off, it is expensive for a little box that makes white noise, lets be honest. BUT its WORKS! We have twins and they would not settle and as soon as we turned this little box on they were quiet and within minutes were asleep. Well done the inventors, this works!
