It’s a nice lil boat for starters.However, once you start looking into more powerful rc boats, you’d wish you saved that money and got something that’s much faster.I used it twice, and that was it.The remote control distance it more than even necessary. It goes further than an eye can see. So there’s plenty of range.Battery life is pretty good too; plus you got two of them.

Well built for a toy grade. Waterproofing is adequate and fun to play with. My 8yo loved it.

Updated: The company responded to this review and got in touch with me. They sent me a whole new boat instead of just a battery! The rest of the review for the boat is great! I would recommend this boat for adults or children! This boat is fast, responsive and fun! PLEASE READ THE WHOLE REVIEW!ORIGINALLY, After unpacking everything, I started charging one of the batteries. It did not do anything! No light came on to indicate the battery was charging. Well, upon inspection of the battery, one of the wires was not connected on the battery pack. So, I have only 1 usable battery instead of 2.As far as the boat itself, it is very fast and fun to control! The controls are adjustable for overall boat speed and steering trim. The boat also has a cool feature where it does not power on until it touches the water. There is no power on/off switch to worry about on the boat. Just install the battery, close the hatches and the boat is ready to go. The steering is very responsive and this boat is very fast at max speed. The battery lasts about 20 to 25 minutes running the boat at top speed. The boat is capable of reversing to get out of a tough spot. Make sure you have a large area to run the boat. This boat is one of the best RC boats that I have tested so far!

The media could not be loaded.  The boat was a lot of fun in the pool. It's very fast and has a rubber nose bumper to protect the boat and your pool walls. It has headlights! I plan to test them with a night video soon. I was happy to find a double sealed electric compartment on the boat and water cooling for the motor. So overheating is not an issue. In the video you can see the boat is a little too fast hitting the walls on the turns. After the video I did dial down the throttle on the controller to 75% and was able to avoid banging the walls. It was a lot of fun I did roll it a bunch of time and drive into the waterfall as well. I did not find a drop of water inside this boat. It made it super easy to just drop in the second battery and speed around again.Note: Once you turn on the controller and connect the boat battery just drop it in the water for the boat to turn on your good to go. No on off switch on the boat. In the water boat is on. Out of the water boat is off. Nice safety feature in case someone or your dog grabs it from the edge of the pool and takes it out the propeller stops moving.

I really like this boat and I can see somebody getting this as a gift. It has good speed and is water cooled. The interior stayed dry the whole time. I love the rubber nose cone to protect the hard plastic. Plus it has a bag that actually holds everything. The self righting only works if you are moving unfortunately. Definitely a great gift for kids. I like that it has a water sensor so it only turns on if it senses water.
