Natural Act was the 1979 country album for the Grammy winning hit-makers, Kris Kristofferson & Rita Coolidge. This was the 3rd of Kris & Rita's ventures together, more commercially oriented but still them. The strains of divorce were hitting, but they sounded great. Kris Kristofferson has always identified himself first and foremost as a writer, and true writers know that what works best is giving a piece of themselves to the listener. 11 tracks including, 'Blue As I Do' and 'Not Everyone Knows'. *Unavailable in the US.

How can you go wrong with Kris and Rita? This CD may be old, but the words and music still hold true today. Their voices were made to sing together. I only wish they could make another CD together for the younger people to get to know their great voices and songs.

Kris and Rita made beautiful music. I had the album in my younger days so I loved getting the CD! The harmony Kris performs is amazing.

Kris and Rita are still a great mix, but some of the passion of their other releases is missing in some of the songs on this one.

Love these two voices together
Love these two voices together. The selection isn't typical of the earlier two recordings, but very pleasing once your ears adjust to a less country sound. Last selection is a haunting tale of ancient Japan with its warlords and harikiri.
