easy to install, works great , good value

It just 1-1–25 and I bought this back in July 2023. Factory batteries are still working fine. I have it on a locker and is opened 5-7 times a month. It’s paired to my Alexa home and sends me notifications both to my phone and echo. Simple & effective.

I'm further updating my review because these completely stopped working now. It's past the return window too. They're a waste of money. I'm updating my review because now these are working only sometimes, or I'm getting an alert a few minutes after the door is closed again (some weird connectivity issue maybe?). I got them so I'd know if doors were opened and dogs were getting into the street. I need to know that immediately, not two minutes later, and I need to know 100% of the time, not just "most" of the time. They're frustrating. I wish I had gotten something else. These are okay. I got two. My older house has doors that aren't flush with each other, and the device requires a gap of less than 0.7 centimeters, which is pretty small. I was able to add a large block on my door to make them even enough to work, but it looks clunky. I wish I'd realized before I bought them that they needed quite such close contact. However, these are my first contact sensors, so maybe this problem is consistent with all devices. The instructions are minimal and miniature.

99 percent of the time they work well. The only problem I have is that the battery gauge always says 100 percent full. Has them since October 2025 and replaced the batteries twice. Never saw the gague dropped, just replace the batteries when it doesn't works well. I do have both of them connected to my Alexa.

These are great Door Sensors. The best part is that this really works and barely consumes any battery power. I have the same battery running for about 8 months now and it is still showing no signs of slowing down. 98% of the times the alert shows up almost immediately. There were only a few hiccups when alert did not show up or arrived hours late. Its a very good value for money and it does the intended job perfectly. Recommended to everyone.

After testing one in my home I’m going to start using them they are a decent item with the ability to monitor my home while having the benefit of Alexa routines only issue is the delay from Alexa i would prefer the announcement would happen before the person has entered and moving around the house before notification. The tuya app reacts much faster than Alexa but lacks customization. I.e sets off an alarm on my phone but doesn’t let me know what device is alarming without checking the app. A simple front door or rear door option would have been a huge help being in the industry I’m a bit hard on devices but knowing what is out there I believe these are small things the company could add to there software to gain a star so 3 out of 5 is fair add the simple announcements and it’s a 4 out of 5 add the abilities to use a wired contact off of this receiver bam 5 out of 5

Great door sensor. I have the older model on my mailbox. I'm sure this newer model will work just as good.
