Runs great on wooden tracks!
My twin (boy/girl) Grandkids love this train addition to their wooden train tracks. Very nice set, and the motorized engine was a huge hit as compared to the original push trains that came with the original set. Fits right on the tracks and works perfectly.

This little blue wonder is what I would want my children to be if they were a steam engine. Steady, powerful, and consistent, with the veracity, drive, and resilience of an American rock badger. With the elegance of a Bernini sculpture, and the torque and tenacity strong enough to get my ex-wife to show up in court, this little engine doesn’t think it can, it knows it can and does it with unparalleled majesty. Truly worth the purchase. I bought this little steam engine engine, but it ended up purchasing my heart.

Great toy
Exactly what you're looking for. My son has a lot of fun with it. It makes noise at a good level that isn't annoying if you're sensitive to annoying noises. The battery life is really long and I haven't changed them after 4 months of use. Very easy to use and the value is really great.

Great set for the money!
We bought this for our toddler grandchildren, and it is a hit! They especially like the engine sounds. It navigates hills well and has a decent battery life even when pulling multiple cars. Works well on the garage sale wooden track we found, and it seems to be of good quality. Definitely nicer than expected for its low price tag! Will buy from this supplier again.

Good toy!
This is very, very cute and worth the money IMO. However, It’s a little bit fragile so I can see where it could break very easily if played rough with. But my 2 1/2-year-old grandson just loved this. I would definitely buy more. 👍

Does not move on the tracks.
Does not work on the tracks at all, can't make turns or even go straight. Horrible design, and the sound went dead on it in two days. Not worth the money. The train & the tracks come from the same brand & store.
